@@staceyseward402 My wife is from Taiwan and she never heard Rancid before me. We were driving around today and I had Rancid on playing at a low volume, so we could talk and stuff. She doesn't like loud music, she usually tells me to turn it down when she is with me. Today she took me by surprise when out of nowhere she leaned forward and cranked up the volume super loud! So there we were cruising around while blasting Rancid! What awesome fun that was!

I was in junior high, and my brother was a crazy liberty spike wearing, Doc.Martin wearing crazy punk rock fanatic and i absolutely loved every bit of it. He taste in music really opened my eyes to the world of punk. I remembered going to jam session and hearing almost every punks, ska bands around in the early, mid, and late 90's I would burn piles of Cd's and store them they keep forever. I was cleaning my shop out yesterday and found the case of CDs. Start listening to them this morning on the way to work. Brought back great memories, and i had to call my brother and just talk about all those great childhood memories. Punk, ska, reggae had a hug impact on my musical taste to this day. Rancid, bad religion, Nofex, clash, DK, Social D, circle jerks, and sex pistol were my favorite bands when i was a pre-teen.

Agreed. My friend who went with me on all these Rancid adventures all over the U.S. bailed and I slowly found myself withdrawing from the punk scene because not many people in my life share my passion for this band the same. There's a vibe and feeling to it that is just so right. Went to 1 show alone recently but miss just making adventures around it. Their music has gotten me through so much and I ll go to shows until Im 100 lol. Best band ever!

Reconciled to the belief, consumed in sacred ground for me There wasn't always a place to go But there was always an urge, a need to belong All these bands and all these people All these friends and we were equals, but Whatcha gonna do when everybody goes on without you To the end, to the end, I'll journey to the end To the end, to the end, I'll journey to the end To the end, yeah To the end, to the end, I'll journey to the end Started in '87, ended in '89 You got a garage or an amp we'll play anytime It was just the 4 of us, yea man the core of us Too much attention unavoidably destroyed us Four kids on tour 3, 000 miles In a four door car not knowing what was going on Not if we got a billion years it would turn out like this Hell no, no premonition could have seen this To the end, to the end, I'll journey to the end To the end, to the end, I'll journey to the end To the end, yeah To the end, to the end, I'll journey to the end Matty came from far away From New Orleans, then into the East Bay He said this is a mecca I said this ain't no mecca man, this place is fucked Three months go by, he had no home He had no food, he's all alone Matty said fool me once, shame on you He said fool me twice, he went back to New Orleans To the end, to the end, I'll journey to the end To the end, to the end, I'll journey to the end To the end, yeah To the end, to the end, I'll journey to the end
