STUNNING! I stood up and cheered! I'm playing this on the organ in church tomorrow and wanted to hear some other performer's interpretations. Miss Price would have been so proud of both of you!

I heard Mr. Goodsby perform this piece at a live concert and he introduced 'Adoration' as his 'encore' selection by holding his hand over his heart. As a virtuoso, he is destined for international stardom with his unique artistic sensitivity, magnificent stage presence and all the insightful, eloquent remarks he made introducing each piece on the program. He showcases little known composers, such as Grant Still, Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson and Florence Price whose compositions are masterful, yet they went under the radar for decades. 'Adoration' was just breathtaking. After speaking to the director who organized the concert (whose comment was "He has it all!"), as I was putting on my coat, who should be standing directly behind me but Mr. Goodsby himself with his Guarneri del Gesu strapped to his back. As an amateur violinist myself, I asked him if he had a few minutes of his time so I could thank him for one of the most memorable and electrifying concerts ever. He was so very kind to me.

Bravo to Decca for signing a young artist who has barely finished his studies. I am pretty confident that Randall will be a leading violinist on the world concert stage within a few years and will dominate classical music for decades to come. He has that rare musicianship that eludes many professional musicians - he speaks with his violin. He is also extremely eloquent when he talks. Half a century ago, many of the best musicians in the US were born outside the US (Heifetz and Perlmann, the top American violinists of all time, were both born outside the US) . Here is an American who can communicate extremely well his love of music in words and with his violin. Genuine musicianship cannot be taught and cannot be faked. Here is the genuine article. Zhu Wang is an excellent pianist and also has plenty to say in his accompaniment. IMHO, he should move less with his body. There is no need to act out the music. The constant crouching and rocking makes him tense and I think he would play better if he keeps still, just as a good golfer must keep the head still.
