@@Kaerlith Well, depending of the diction of the person, the Ll sound is not that different from that of Y in spanish, even more so if the person speaks a germanic language. She obviously can't properly pronounce the Ll, and as vowels in spanish are more clearly defined and reduced to just 5, plus spanish being almost a phonetical language, if you speak spanish you hear her say "me iamo cerveza" because the A is not a diphthong as it would be in english. But you probably are subconsciously much more used to associate diphthongs with single written vowels if your mother tongue is not spanish. At least that's my hypothesis

@@Kaerlith Plus "I love beer" would be "Me gusta la cerveza" o "amo la cerveza" but please note that you don't need to say the "Yo" because when you say "Me" you are implying the subject because it roughly translates as "to me". So "Me llamo cerveza" would be literally "I call myself beer" or "(To me) I call myself beer" which you could also express by saying "Mi nombre es cerveza" which is "My name is beer" but the former is just more common and the second sounds overly formal or just weird. Hope it helps!
