I don’t know why Pizzoza got all the hype even back then,he was so old when he got transferred to Mexico,and he only had one WC appearance despite his stellar prime stats in the ‘91 and ‘93 run. Aruglia and Bariaga were probably the best acquisitions,they had good form in ‘95 ‘96 and ‘97 and they were still only rookies and definitely tied up the problems they had with defense. Naturally Arriaga and Arriaga II were the core of the team and the addition of the other two really made them something special. Sad they never got to take the Cup home.

When they started listening to the whiners and the offended, that was the beginning of the end. Apu.
@Jen78679 ай бұрын
@@SocialistDistancingI haven't seen the documentary "The Problem with Apu" but I watched the trailer. In it, I saw high school/college kids complaining that people called them names or were rude to them by comparing them to Apu. What I persomally believe they missed was that kids tend to be cruel and by their very nature, kids are underdeveloped as human beings. If a child isn't teased for their ethnicity, it will be something else. Kids literally look for something about other kids that they can pick on. Of course, I don't condone making fun of others. But it's going to happen in childhood, no matter what. It isn't as if choosing a South Asian man to run the convenience store came out of nowhere. In the 90's, many South Asians and Middle Easterners owned and worked at gas stations. And good for them!! Other than the story where Apu sells dirty hot dogs and expired meat, or the story where Apu cheats on his wife, Apu is one of the most respectable and likeable adults in Springfield. He is intelligent, he is hard-working, he is patient, and he is funny. He is also flawed (as previously mentioned), but that is a part of being a human being. What's not to like?

First of all its not really that deep and its a satirical animated sitcom with subtle adult humour so its not to be taken seriously. Lisa isn’t really into computer games ( but later becomes addicted as a competitive streak kicks in- it happens lol ) to her attitude foreshadows ( the show foreshadowed a lot in its hey day ) the attitude today that entertainment should somehow reflect reality when, entertainment especially video games are escapism. Also you failed to notice her playing a parody of Crash Bandicoot, even its music is the similar to the crash games.
