Random Bike Race - Who’s Really The Fastest GCN Presenter?

Who would win in a presenter race between Conor, Manon, Hank and Si? To find out, Conor has organised a hill climb with a twist: each presenter has to ride a wacky bike. Manon’s got the cheap Amazon e-bike, Hank’s on El Alto, Si has a fixie, and Conor has been given Manon’s road bike. Who will win this random bike challenge and claim the title of GCN’s fastest presenter?

On their normal bikes. Sure Manon would be last, but I'd rather be last on my own legs than win with a e-bike. I'm a woman, too. I'm always last and I can live with that. But I'd be offended to be given an e-bike while the others got to use just their own power. I'm very fond of Manon and she's amazing! None of them have anything to prove anyway.

Do you know these bikes that one person rides and six others help peadling? The riders are sitting in a circle. It is a lot of fun and would make for a great team effort. I think they are called "conference bikes. I see great opportunities for this bike, ranging from a team effort to a live stream where one person "drives" and the other pedal and record something or stream an episode of sth. Commuter based competition. Commuter bikes with racks and 10kg load. Riders each map a 10km course they will follow and the time they need to finish at their desk, like arriving at work on time. The winner is the one who arrives at their desk ready to work closest to the starting time for the office, including changing into working clothes. Not early or late. Maybe throw in typing a 1000 word text to make sure they are not to worn out to work?

Perfect Sunday GCN video! Absolutely loved every minute of it. The banter, the bikes, the challenge - so much fun. Also I think Manon's bike is probably bigger than mine is or the same size. I'm 162 cm and I got like XXS Canon Ultimate and the idea of someone like Conor trying to ride it 🤣Honestly I was concerned the frame was going to break or something. Conor's a skinny lad for his size but he's still a giant 😆 That El Alto still looks smashing. Love the mint green wheels and frame. Thanks for this video. Made my Sunday so much brighter. 👏

16:03~Hmmm beneath the Ginormous Leprechaun's jacket reside the colors of the Irish National Champion....this was fun. I WAS surprised that Son-of-Hank's-Dad suffered so much on EL Alto. Siborg1 on a fixie was no surprise to be honest. The Welsh Dragon Queen rules as always. I DID note that Prince-of-being-Dropped Dr. Bridgewood was not amongst the peddlers since his recent wins in the previous contests. Does he know how to ride sans areo??? Here's my suggestion for a race, team style or individual, one leg on the track, one leg on a mountain bike, a 30 K road bike leg, a 15 K gravel bike leg, and finish with a 10 K TT.
