3:34 because we domesticated dogs, a lot of the diseases/parasites that effect them also effect us and vice versa, so dog cheese would be a really bad idea if not done properly and would get us very sick. That's also why you can't use dog poop as fertilizer.

"We’ve already proved that a decent Neufchâtel can be produced in a home kitchen with store bought cow’s milk and bottle of rennet (which curdles the milk). Improvising on the same recipe we managed to turn that gallon or so of dog milk into a soft farmhouse-type round of what we believe to be a first . . . dog cheese. The taste? It is full bodied, and a little musky at first whiff, but salting the cheese really brings out a nice, distinct Frito odor which makes it a natural pairing with beer and three bean dip. Kids like it too."

I wouldn't even say it's that. I'd say it's more the issue of why we don't farm carnivorous animals in general, namely the fact that giving meat to an animal to turn into meat we eat is not efficient when we could just eat the meat we would've fed to the animal. Not to mention the thing I forget the name of where toxins concentrate more and more the higher up a food chain you go. Giving meat to an animal to turn into milk isn't cost effective, nutrients-wise.

cows and goats are cheaper to feed since they mostly just eat grass, and the other big thing is that in order to start lactating a mammal needs to have a baby first. (typically- im sure they've found ways around it but it's still important) and cows and goats only have 1-2 babies per pregnancy, while dogs, cats, hamsters, whatever other pet mammals can have 10+, which is a lot of new animals to take care of. So, in summary.... dog milk can't be feasible unless we also make puppy nuggets.
