Of note, this doesn't apply to just the box, but any stealth effect will basically guarantee a critical shot, though I can't blame you for only using the Box as an example as there's only two? other sources of stealth in the game/

Ya! I learned this after some other comments, so I'm a late bloomer ha. The real only benefit then to the box, compared to the other stealth items, is that I believe it doubles damage of any shot from it

You're absolutely right, Serhat. In fact, you're not the only one who has told me to do this haha. Originally I tried doing that, but it was a little hard to get all the EtG info on that vertical format... so I got lazy... and didn't. In retrospect that was a dumb decision... So if and when I make more random gungeon facts videos, I'll def follow your advice and make them shorts! Thanks for the advice!

AHHH RIIIGHT! It makes sense. They actually added sneak attacks into EtG huh? Does it work with other sources of invisibility?

This is a great question! I wasn't sure, so I booted up the game and tested this question out. As it turns out, the Vorpal gun will proc a critical hit out of any items that give invisibility/cloaking. For example, if you get the smoke bomb and go invisible with it and then fire the Vorpal gun, it always appears to cause a critical hit. The only real advantage of using the BOX then is that the box, unlike say the smoke bomb, deals double damage to any shot that shoot while leaving the box! TIL

@@enoraltheoutcast That's a negative. The vorpal bullets + invisibility/cloaking don't guarantee a critical hit T_T

FYI sneak attacks are a thing from DND. If you are rogue, and you hide successfully, your attack can become a sneak attack and deal extra damage. Just like this!

@@brendanwee1364it’s also important to mention that “Vorpal” weapons is also a dnd thing. Not sure if it’s originated there, but the idea is that a vorpal sword has a small chance to instakill the enemy, being the idea of the vorpal bullets mechanic and the reason why the vorpal gun looks like a curvy sword
