The formula to get through a run is simple: Loads of hearts, a boss buster weapon (Sling for example), general or room-clearing guns that save the boss buster, and everything else should come naturally.

Yo at the beginning you went off to find a water barrel, there was one right next to the fireplace on the left lol. There's always a 1 water barrel already in the fireplace room on floor 1.

I have a question, once you have beaten a run as all the characters can you just continue playing it like endlessly? because i absolutely love games that have an endless or a survivor mode where you see how long you can last before you eventually die. hence why i love the binding of isaac or the endless mode in brotato.

fun fact: while the Finished gun replaces the Unfinished gun upon being unlocked, you can still obtain the unfinished gun if the Rat offers it at the beginning of a run where you took a shortcut and it will stay as the unfinished gun

What I don't like about the secret floors is how nested they are. If both water barrels on the first floor get destroyed, which might not even be your fault, no Oubliette for you. No Oubliette means no Abbey, and you probably won't be able to save up enough money for the Gnawed Key, so no Rat's Lair either. R&G Department is counterproductive to go to on a regular run, so by missing the first secret floor, you've been completely locked out of nearly half the chambers in the game.

Says you. I've never had any problem. Oh, wait... There actually was that one time, but that's just because I was the gunslinger and I had some cactus-looking gun that sprayed needles E V E R Y W H E R E. It lagged up a storm. Fun times.
