This is incredible, man! I love it. I used to play a lot of guitar and write music, but through college and bit after, I didn't fuel that creative side as much (I did in painting, but not as much in music), and have really missed it. This composition, atmosphere, and stylization is so beautiful, unique and fresh, I've been re-inspired to pick up my guitar (I really love the weird jazzy beats, too/ the unexpected, 'avant-garde' beats/ I can't find the right word : D haha). I think art that compels us in such a way to a more purely creative place, is truly rare, and such a gift to others. Keep it up, man! Awesome. I look forward to painting while listing to your music!

Chopped vocal samples, loop things, make a sample of guitar on the fly, route it to and play it on the keys, loop that, etc., mess with the speed/delay/feedback of loops for the wave. Cool ass set up that let's you route a sample on the fly to your keys, then make melodies to add the to the tune/loop. Handy as.

Really interesting use of technology and traditional instruments. Not sure I really 'get it' but I do appreciate the skills. Thumbs up.
@DjNikGnashers5 жыл бұрын
Well, maybe that was a bit vague. I obviously get it, in the way I get how it's done. I have an advanced national diploma in music technology, and have produced a lot of music myself. I also play traditional instruments too, and have a good knowledge of music theory. What I don't 'get' exactly, is the musical style, it's not really something that sets my ears alight. I'm very much into dance music, and HipHop/Turntablism, I DJ myself every week, and I love all kinds of music from the 1920's to the present. I just don't really 'love' this as a piece of music. I do appreciate the skills and talent on show though.

No worries Adam, and thank you for the reply. Sorry if that was a bit of a ramble, I didn't understand what you meant with your initial short comment. I thought I needed to expand a bit.
