Nice haul! Love the agates and jaspers you found. I'm not sure if you watch Agate Dad's channel or not, but I know if you emailed Taylor some pics he would try to help you identify the jaspers as to what kind they are. He's a really great guy and is always willing to help a fellow rockhounder. The one with the bright red dots might be orbicular jasper. Sometimes if there's enough iron in the iron banded formation rocks a magnet will stick to them, but just because a magnet doesn't stick to it doesn't mean it's not an iron banded formation, it just means it has less iron. But you can tell with quite a few and help you get an eye for it better. The area you were in is really beautiful and peaceful. Thanks for sharing your trip and new treasures!✌️🤠

Wow! You have an amazing eye for finding agates! I found some of those bubble ones too. I have no idea what they are either. I did see that one white rock looks like chert. 😊

Thanks Lisa! I think you are right when it comes to the white rock being chert! And once you pick up enough rocks, the agates start to distinguish themselves more and more 😃

Carry a small magnet with you on your hunts. I can't say positively, but that looked like Iron Banded Jasper, and a nice large piece at that. The last one looked like a Botryoidal Agate. Nice finds. I enjoy seeing others joy, and rejoice in their finds.

That’s a good idea! I kept all of the large rocks just in case they were a piece that I wanted to have in the future once I am better at identifying!

One more thing, I get my Agates wet, and I study, I mean really study the outside of every agate. Because the best way to find bigger, better agates is to be able to recognize them when you can't, or don't see the bands.

Hello. Its good to watch some smaller channels and see some pretty good content. Looks like was a great place to walk and explore and do a little rockhounding. Really nice agate you found with excellent bands. All the others were pretty nice too, each had cool characteristics. I'll stop back by to check out more of your vids.

I have a few dozen videos on my channel that help identify jasper and chert. I wouldn't count on agate dad because he continually confuses the difference between an agate and chalcedony. Fingers and Thumbs.... All agates are chalcedony, but not all chalcedony is an agate. As far as jasper, the more glassy, the better.

David, thank you for the insight in regards to some of these common rocks I’m finding. I definitely have a lot to learn still!
