I felt the same way u did when i first moved from Los Angeles to Oklahoma. It's this weird homesick feeling, and u just want to go back. I also had my first kid the first year i moved but 3 years later i feel like im in a better situation than i would be in los angeles im sure id still be living in a small apartment without any privacy. I still miss los angeles, but i have made the best of what i got in oklahoma and count my blessings. U just have to decide what u value the most in life.

Anyone in the greater Tampa area will tell you that Riverview/Brandon is the worst place you could ever choose to live. Anyone who doesn’t live in that area goes out of their way to stay out of that area. It’s the worst. The road infrastructure is garbage and it’s basically Tampa’s ghetto. Try Lutz, Odessa, Wesley Chapel, Carrollwood, etc. In any other town, you’d never want to go back to backwards Cali.

@S2K yeah alot of people in Rhode Island (where I live) have their cars registered in Florida for that same reason. But the state said they are cracking down on that. Sucks. Can't get away with anything these days. We can still car parts delivered. But things like window tint are illegal here.

Good luck, Cam. We’re down visiting our kids in Jacksonville Florida right now and coming down from Michigan. I can tell you that the traffic around here sucks. We ordered take-out from a restaurant. It was about 5 miles away it took from 4:30 to 5:30 round-trip during rush hour traffic on a Friday night. It’s ridiculous down here. People don’t know how to drive they cut you off go through red lights turn right in front of you when you have the green arrow. It’s a nice place to visit, but I definitely would not want to live down here. We’ve found some friendly people but not a lot. You’re young starting a new family. It’s nice to travel around the country or move around the country and see what it’s like and if you don’t like it, try something else or move back to California. Happy new year and you guys have a great week.

Glad to see you again Cameron glad all is well. Scary to think woke CA is better than FL. Although I'm in SoCal not sure where I would go? I replaced 2 front factory speakers in 07' Si blown out after 15 years with the aftermarket plastic brackets that sit against door and had to go back in there due to rattling and put some rubber behind them. My advice is to test them really good for door rattle before putting the door panel back on.
