It's been a while, but I enjoyed They Both Die at the End. I don't remember exactly how I rated it, but it wasn't 5 stars. I think the biggest thing holding it back for me was the potential the concept had. You read about two boys who meet on their last day. Cool. But that just kind of felt like wasted potential to me. What if a mother got that phone call for her 4 year old child. What if someone who has been terminally ill got the phone call and knew their suffering would be over. What if your brother got the call and you were the one who accidentally caused it. What if you were planning on murdering someone and they got the call. But last minute you changed your mind. Idk. Like I said, I enjoyed it, but I think the concept deserved a bit more than two strangers meet on their last day. That's just me tho

have you read the first to die at the end? (the sequel), I'm so intrigued and I guess the concept probably gets explored further with a second book

@_floharvey I haven't. My TBR is so long that I haven't gotten there yet lol. If it does explore more of that stuff, I might need to bump it up
