I love the fact that your channel still mostly focuses on budget gear. Even though I have a higher end setup now I think covering budget gear is really important. I assume you're getting offered more and more higher end gear but I hope you keep setting aside time for the budget section

Still using a G25 in 2025 (!) given to me years ago by a friend . If it broke I’d happily find another second hand tbh. Have no intention to upgrade anytime soon. I’d rather spend my money on either beefing up the PC (I only play in VR, yes I’m one of those wankers) or buying more DLC.

You didn't mention one thing, though. Fanatec is the only wheelbase with swappable wheels that do not allow third-party wheels (you will have 0 force feedback) and has a different QR attachment pattern compared to others.

Zero regrets here having rocked my CSL DD 8Nm and V2 pedal set for over a year at this point. Seems like Fanatec's improved their logistics post-Corsair acquisition and their ecosystem is broad enough to make diversifying and upgrading simple.

I have a csl DD with the wrc and McLaren wheel and love it! Just waiting for the Monte Carlo rally bundle to be back in stock so I can upgrade my wheel

I would recommend fanatec as I have used a CSL elite for at least 4 years not and I have never had a issue with it. I had a t300 and even though it was new it was broken from day 1 as randomly all the buttons will be pressed at the same time so my game was paused and on the dashboard mid race. I believe it is ghost bottom pressing

T150 and pedals for £40….pre covid, you can’t go wrong! Brand new! I would say to new players, buy second hand, study the market'. You don’t NEED to spend a fortune. Then if you are really hooked after 6 months, and have a budget, upgrade if you wish I own a Fanatec CSL DD and V3, and don’t wish for anything better, but my set up from Fanatec, with wheel was £1000…..that’s a huge difference from £40!,, Last tip, don’t be pressured into thinking you have to spend a ton of money, to keep up with your friends! Have fun, it’s a game.🎉

If you're on PS5/PC you should consider upgrading to the T598. The turtle beach has really bad build quality and has no ecosystem currently.

@stfubar2365 would never get a two pedal setup. Needs to have a clutch pedal. I've used the turtle beach before it feels fucking amazing to the point that it shocked me. I was just wondering what he thought about it you sound biased

If you are on xbox... I'd rather get an r5 base and the xbox es rim. The turtle beach has potential but I doubt they are actually serious about it
