I feel like my high school golf coach would have had a heyday with these videos, lol. He always said "There's no reason to ever shoot 90. All you have to do is hit your tee shot, hit your 2nd/3rd up by the green (minus Par 3s), chip and 2 putt, and that's 90! Now always keep the ball below the hole and one of those putts will roll in!" ... If only I had listened to him. I was always pulling out the Driver and swinging for the flag stick every shot 😂

I like his attitude. It sounds like the lamest compliment you can give, but I mean it with the highest honour. So many people are always upset when they hit a bad shot but he's easy breezy about it, without being apathetic, and it makes me feel calmer myself. What a beautiful course. Saw Tiger Sergio and Vijay play there like 11 years ago. That cross shaped building that is in the opening shot is an apartment where a lot of sf state students live. Had friends with a room in that building.. lots of good times at that spot in the world. Great vid. Brings back a lot of memories.

One thing I don’t think he mentioned during the pre-shots that’ll help folks - always pick where your miss is and select club and swing appropriately. His misses were mostly really pretty good here, leaving good angles to the pin and green to work with. Nice playing!
