It wasted their time but they won in the end anyway since they played the long game. You inspired me to roll my own HC character with the express purpose of farming bots.

The letter in the mailbox is just to make it seem like they've done something. It doesn't mean they've been banned unfortunately, I much prefer the execution method

i love you keeping the integrity of the game alive, and the AH more fair for real players... it's just scary, kinda inadvertently teaching people how to grief non bots, but i guess it's a lesser of two evils kind of thing, since griefing will exist anyway.

99% of this stuff won't work on a real player. A real player can get out of all of these situations. Thats one of the reasons why I only kill people above level 40 and it has been a rule of mine since day one. No player, who is able to get to 40 on hc ontop of all the bot-tells will die to this stuff.

By bot-tells i mean. 100% boe geared, walk in same patterns for 18 hours, have same rotation, doesn't respond, doesn't quest, farm in rural places where no real players are, visit vendors in the same order (Sell, food, repair, mailbox, arrow/bullet vendor -> back to grind for 18 hours).

It only works against hunters/warlocks because of pets. The good old scatter + FD + freezing trap doesn't work against paladins for instance :(

When using scattershot the mob has no target. When the bot then used a spell he got unto the threat table and i could feign death.

Script. The owner would have FD. Seems the script now adjusts based on chances to survive an encounter. Or at least it tries to. The script may try to decide flee or fight based on the hp/mana % ratio. Under certain threshold it will flee so i don`t think we'll see the new bots oom themselves trying to heal pet.

At this point they need to program an if statement specifically for YOU. If MadskillzzHC -> Feign Death -> Hearthstone -> Repeat every 30sec until properly hearthed.

Have it turned on only for guild members. I did that the very first day because I couldn't see my screen for deathmessages on fresh :D People die every single second.

@@Madskillzzhc you can adjust the death messages to have a level range, and adjust it's position and sizing to make it a tiny alert in the top corner somewhere. can even change the soundtoo if you use deathlog. i find having it be a tiny box in a corner of my screen with a little beep every time someone level 19 or higher dies is quite amusing.

Idk how hard you've been going on the leveling grind but it's still insane how a bot is almost lvl 50 when you're 52 just by killing mobs for 18 hours straight, no quests or dungeons
