Basically, the Recon plate carrier is Warrior's version of the Crye Precision JPC (Jumpable Plate Carrier)

2022 Just got the recon, it is solid the open sides are still load carrying stiff so dont sweat that, the buckles are very positive ,crazy good value,

The recon has also got a variety of back plates with pouches and there’s a drop-down pouch which can go under the vest at the front, so you can get a shit loads of kit on all you’ll ever need especially if you then have webbing/body armour, and again really good quality kit. I use allot of it an no not for airsoft I use mine for in the field and range days.

I love my DCS plate carrier. I bought it some time ago when I was in United States. Sadly, it isn't easy to buy one when you're living in Chile, due to WAS has no retailers in South America (actually, I've been thinking in become one). Anyway, I have been using it for some time and it's amazing, really confortable even when you're wearing all the level IV ballistic plates. I'm using it together with a Belt similar to Warrior Frag Belt.

I rne 3+ from steel ops in my DCS jusst took a 2 day 1000 rd rifle class with it held up great and and very Comfortable if you guys want to upgrade check out PIG pontoons and shoulder pads

Interesting set up. Where do you put your bayonet? I have a SA80 bayonet. It's loose in its frog,when the frog is in the new sheath,it's hard to take out the frog. So now I just have bayonet on different sheath. I like to have a real bayonet set up. Ideas? You seem to know a lot. Thanks

Hey - was wondering what mag pouches you have on the recon - the ones that look to be stacked on top of each other - I wanna get enough for 6 mags ( so 3 of them if they're individual? ) so that way I have extra space for a 7th and 8th on each side to hold while they aren't in the mag well. I'm also looking at getting the redi mag as well, to hold both 7 and 8 mags --- anyways! Yea - which mag pouches are those lol

+RandomTrashy I am wondering this same question. I am buying a carrier for both real world training/plate use and airsoft. I am going to keep my plates in during games to condition my body to wearing them. My problem is I have ar500.com ar500 10''x 12'' ACS plates which are only .26'' thick. I am worried about them having forward to rear movement since they arent as thick as SAPI plates. I am 5'5'' 125# and I wear a size 30 pants. I love the recon and its slimness if you will but I want a cummberbund, gosh its hard. As I said Im getting for real world training as well and being small is an issue. I am not young (28) just a smaller frame guy. I have also looked at the LBT 6094, LBX Armatus, Shellback Tactical Banshee, AWS inch Operators Choice, Mayflower APC, and 1 or two others. I guess being small I want a slim'ish profile that still has a cummberbund, and quality features as these do. If the Recon has a cummberbund this wouldnt even be a discussion. +RandomTrashy well in terms of how big I am, the plate shoulder straps won't go short enough, and the front and back plate themselves are ever so slightly too wide, from the video, the rpc looks narrower, and seems to have shorter shoulder straps
