Claire was great on that debrief with the cadet. I get that that it must be genuinely a bit intimidating dealing with Randy in character if you don't have much experience, so it was nice of her to debrief in a way that was actually positive for Beck rather than just blast her with "You did X Y and Z wrong" like some cops would (and half the people in these comments as well it seems lmao)

Yes, that is when she is talking about. Randy got back in his car and turned it around, and as he drove towards her she saw him draw his gun and point it at her, and as she said she tried to run away but knows she should have gotten on the radio. Instead she had already holstered her weapon, tried to run to a car to chase a guy who wasn't running, and the first that anyone else knew she was in danger was when she got blasted in the face.

You are allowed to return fire if actively being shot at. So if Randy shot at them while they were driving you can shoot back. Some cops are good like Gunner, who teaches correctly. Some cops are bad like Claire who teaches cops to do it at the wrong times. Then they wonder why mag dump season happens.

It used to be a rule in early 2.0. Cops complained and said screw that I'm not going to drive and just get shot. Also crims would shoot just to end the chase because cops would back off. Then it resulted in cops having to get out of their car to shoot which made them easy targets or the getaway super easy.

Listen I'm currently a cadet with no fucking clue what I'm doing on a lower pop server. This shit is nerve-wracking even talking to people who aren't streamers. I can only imagine how nervous she must be dealing with Randy. It's hard to deal with especially when you don't really know what you are supposed to be doing and what is wrong or right. Part of me wishes he took it easy because if I was in her shoes my stress would overloaded, but it's Randy and this is what he does.

Pulling out the gun and giving a cocky 'hm?' just to look badass is just gonna give crims (Especially Randy) more of an incentive to murder you. And then the cherry on top, tackling him and cuffing him just because he said she's inexperienced, he was walking away, not even running. A lot of new cops are nervous there is a lot more pressure than being a crim/civilian. For example when summit made a cop character he was very nervous on if he would mess up. Shes lucky it was randy because he’s very friendly in most situations and creates mostly enjoyable rp situations

This is rp, it isn’t real life. Randy bullet not getting life for a lot of the stuff he’s done in rp is unrealistic. And cops are allowed to rp as corrupt. Some of the best content creators on nopixel, like Conan Clarkson and Tony Andrews, are corrupt cops. Clarkson had an entire arc where he did nothing but mess with the Otto’s Autos employees. Irl, he would’ve gotten fired for that.
