These interviews with Randy are terrific. He sounds like he's smiling while he's talking. ❤

Randy Meisner is a true talent and never got enough recognition for what he brought to the Eagles. Even though it made him wealthy, he was dominated by Frey and Henley and succumbed to a lifestyle that few can tolerate. I did like your coverage of Rick Nelson. Another great gone too soon.

Legacy was a great album. Anyone who hasn't heard it should give it a listen. It's a true hidden gem. Too this incarnation of Poco didn't go well. Great hearing this interview and remembering Randy as he once was! Thanks so much!

Agreed. And the album had two Top 40 singles in the U.S., so that's not too shabby.

I think Randy is doing better these days. There are recent photos of him with a fan, and with some of his musician friends. After all he's been through, how great that he's still standing! Love him. And thank you, John!

John thanks for this & other interviews. You do a fantastic job. Could you possibly try & get another interview with him? So many ppl love & cherish Randy & would like to know that he is doing ok and hopefully have another snippet of his life with the Eagles, The Poor, Silverado's etc to share I understand he is a pretty private person & I can totally understand that too His beautiful character, kind heart, humbleness shows. One in a million guy! Randy is very very loved world wide. This Michigan girl loves that Nebraska man.

Mr. B., thank you SO much! Like many, I'm loving this series and look forward to hopefully another seven nuggets. One tiny quibble: why talk about Randy in the past tense? He's been through hell but he's still alive and kicking, thank God. He's currently writing and recording with friends in Los Angeles.

It's great to hear these clips. Randy's had some struggles but he's not dead yet!! Please speak of him in the present tense while we're still enjoying his presence here on Earth ☺

Thanks for pointing that out Anne. Not sure why I said it that way. Maybe an unconscious thing since up until recently we had not heard from him. I will not do that again.

Hopefully Randy gets better and someone will get an interview with him about the good times in music in his life and career. He has done a lot and deserves some "life giving" plugs! I bet He really has a lot of good stories to share.

The Legacy album peaked at #40 in the Top 200 album chart and spawned two top 40 hit singles, "Call It Love" and "Nothin to Hide" making it one of the most successful Poco albums ever. The only other Poco album to have top 40 hits was Legend. Maybe the tour didn't turn out that great but overall the reunion was a highlight in Poco's history.

Randy Meisner although is not in good shape physically and mentally should be interviewed to update his fans of his recovery after the tragedy that he lived. He is completely forgotten I don't know why.
