Listen to the absolute trash lyrics of modern music. This song should have gone interstellar just from the music alone. That guitar tone could saw through a damn castle. Newman's voice floats along above it perfectly. Amazing!

You know it was satire, right? It was a commentary on the “money hungry” 80’s. Much of Randy Newman’s work is satirical in nature.
