@@replicated Vibrato is so cool because it's basically the artist's signature in a way. Zakk's vibrato sounds different from Dime's, Dime's sounds different then EVH's...and so on. "Mastering" vibrato for every player is basically just getting your signature in there.... Can be aggressive, can be tight, can be looser/untamed...However you choose to do it and nailing a consistent sound your way is how you master it my dude. Just riff out and bend those stringssss 🤘

@@duke_of_haze Yeah I don't know , to me they have a similar sound and I didn't care for his latest album. I guess I'm just more of a purest when it comes to Ozzy , I get he's older now and I understand that his musical taste is changing. He really had that, "Good thing I'm getting paid for this!" look on his face. You know he has to be sick of playing this by now. All the years with Ozzy and the fact that he doesn't want to be remembered JUST for this song. Two thumbs up for him giving the fans what we want!

He is truly an amazing guitarist, in my top ten. Because he is a total original, he was able to validate his statement when he said Dimebag was the best all around guitarist on the planet. Zakk is absolutely a god with the axe. But no one can replicate Dime. His sound was so unique that when he past away that sound was lost forever. And no one will ever be able to replicate it. I’ve heard Zakk do his best play the solo on “Walk”, and it’s just not even close to Dimebag’s sound. You ask any of the worlds best musicians past, present, and future. And it’s pretty much unanimous.

Mind Blowing and the best Zakk/Ozzy album, period! The Simple riff, the slide, the solo is a solo to be hold, the simple build up, pentatonic mayhem, I still listen 31 years later, goosebumps/ travel back in time like Marty McFly in DeLorean and relive this when I first got the CD and where I was. Watch when the solo comes on, it's like Zakk is a Deer in the headlights, travelling back in time when he actually recorded this song, it's really awesome and heartfelt. Truly appreciative of the man's contribution to my and millions of others who heard this and can relate to a specific time in their life. This song and Desire, S.I.N, Mama, Zakk's best work with Oz, freaking awesome and then we were blessed with Pride & Glory. Thanks Zakk🤘

For how popular this song is/was there are only a few live performances on YT, and none of them give you a good/clear shot of Zakk playing. Its really cool that he sat down finally to show the world what it looks like. The incorporation of a slide in metal is still such a unique move, and it really fits the song perfectly. It just gives you the ultimate dirty squeal! Like, dirtier than dirty. That squeal is nearly pornographic!
