From what you were showing us last episode, you’ve managed to turn a less than pleasing aesthetic (sorry), into a work of art! To be able to pull off compound sheet metal curves into this final, beautiful result (using hand tools), is testament to your inimitable skills - and - your otherworldly Patience! As I said, quite some time ago (and on a different project), YOU are a very patient man! Can’t wait to see it when it’s all wrapped up!! Nice Work, Steve!!!

Thanks David. Patience something you have to learn or you can just wait until you are old like me and too tired to hurry up.😂

It was a collaboration with Randy the owner who has a great eye for such details.

I'm glad you showed and are using weld thru primer. One of the popular TV shows did a mustang fastback conversion on TV, and didn't use any.

Latest rendition is vastly more pleasing. No longer distracts from the iconic nose.

You have to be careful when tampering with classic design. There is a fine line between refining something and horsing it up.

Steve, I have a good friend who is muscle car fanantic who lives in Jacksonville, NC and I am going to visit him later this year and was wondering if you live very far from the East Coast area of NC? Is it possible to stop by for a quick visit and see your Daytona Clone? It is truely amazing what ONE man can achieve when left alone to work in his shop! Thank You for the great content and keep the videos coming!

You are welcome any time but I am about 4 hours west of Jacksonville.
