@John Qualms . He sure is! More than a Legend but one for sure! He sang the Lord's word and when he was losing his battle, in a coma and the doctors told his wife she should pull the plug on Randy, she went to Randy still in a coma, and she asked him if he wanted to fight this! She said he squeezed her hand and a tear rolled down his cheek and she knew right then that he wanted to and would FIGHT THIS THING! And he did. The Lord said it wasn't his time to go. He always spread the Lord's word in his singing and the Lord said he wasn't done. FOREVER AND EVER AMEN.. 🙏

@@djtrump2101 He's far from being a zombie if that's what you're trying to say about Randy! Look at the newer things that he's been doing and singing is a big part of it. He's one of the best Country singers of all time! The Lord said his work is not done. He's living proof of the Lord's miracles every day.🙏

He's one of the best signers ever, and I'm saying that as a person who is primarily a rock music fan. Randy Travis could croon with the best of them. In an earlier era, he could have been another Sinatra. I'm sorry for his hardships, hope he has a strong recovery. Thanks for the great music Mr. Travis. You are one of a kind.

@@1171 I’m so very sorry that you lost your brother. My heart felt sympathies. He sounds like he was such a fun person to be with. My two brothers, my sister and I are very close. We are military brats who moved practically every year so we were best friends with little time in one place to make other friends. Losing anyone of them would be devastating. Amazing Grace, How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me I once was lost, but now am found T'was blind but now I see T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear And Grace, my fears relieved How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed Through many dangers, toils and snares We have already come. T'was grace that brought us safe thus far And grace will lead us home, And grace will lead us home Amazing grace, Howe Sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me I once was lost but now am found T'was blind but now I see Was blind, but now I see.

Although I'm not one who likes country music. There are a few songs I like mainly from the olden days but I will say this that RANDY TRAVIS has/had before the stroke the most genuine-sounding country voice I've ever heard out of all the popular country singers. In other words, he doesn't have to fake a country twang to sound "country" it just comes naturally and effortlessly with him. Out of all, RANDY TRAVIS wins hands down as far as the best vocal sound for country. He stands out in spades to me!!!
