3 hours and 45 minute concert. OMG! They really gave it to the fans. No wonder Robert’s voice is cracking.

Did any here get to see these guys live?? It seems we are few and far apart now. I got to tell you guys; that this was one the best experiences in my life having seen these guys 4 times. I have had many amazing experiences in my 72 years. I got to know personally Elvis Costello; met a royal princess; a vice president..sport stars and movie stars...but seeing Led Zepplin live tops my list. I was 26 years old back in 1970 when some friends and I decided to go To Montreal to see Led Zeppelin. Zeppelin would be our first concert; excecpt for Bert who was at Woodstock. Somewhere in during the concert a couple of my friend disappeared. I thought at first bathroom, but they didn't come back. We met up again after the concert outside the Montreal Forum. I was dazed and confused..(really) I wasn't able to turn my head to cross the street...I had to turn my whole body lol. My friends explained the concert was just too powerful and they were not able to handle it. We made our way back to the hotel. I sat on my bed speechless, and slid off my shoes. I didn't even undress; I was out like a light when my head hit the pillow. I have not stopped talking about that experience or Led Zeppelin since. I have see many of the greats from my generation, but nobody does it like Led Zeppelin. They were special. I wish you all could have experienced them, and it gives me great joy to know that you all love Zep as much as I do. I can tell you this; I'm 72 years old now; and you as you grow older; you will grow to love them even more than you do now.

Given the reputation of Led Zeppelin, they never seem to give the impression that they were conceded pretentious group of guys. Just chill dudes who rocked the fuck out.

They really were, brother. They were so no-nonsense and down to earth it's ridiculous. Pagey was working from age 15. Jonesy was just a straight forward, level-headed bloke. Percy and Bonzo were from the Midlands, nuff said

This is still a rippin version. Jimmy's driving rhythm playing remained pretty awesome throughout all time and this song brings it out. Giving birth to elements of Johnny Ramone's style. When I was lucky enough to see P&P in the 90's Robert's voice still spiked the PA and I was amazed at one point in 98 that I could hear his raw voice above the PA. Truly phenomenal.

The day of this concert is the same day Monty Python and the Holy Grail came out. Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd helped finance the movie and Robert Plant tells the crowd at the end to "watch out for the Holy Grail"! Pretty cool...and this song is killer!

I recall someone going to the first show telling me Jimmys Guitar packed up in the opening Rock n Roll which was not a good start, but hey that's show business. RIP Zeppelin

He had vocal surgery after the 1973 U.S. Tour, and was never quite the same again. This is one of the highest vocals he ever performed, as it appeared on the first album. It would be tough to match that vocal for anyone over the course of hundreds of shows. They should have dropped songs like this to help him out after said surgery.

RobbyMinx it was before the 73 tour cuz if you notice on TSRTS voice sounds different. Nonetheless Zeppelin was always badass live. The kings at improvising
