The crowd work is absolutely next level. Most stand up comedians follow the rule that crowd work needs to be as mean as possible, but he's barely ever actually mean, he approaches with a lot of friendship and makes them open up. The problem when you do that is that it'll cause everyone to start interacting, even unprompted, and derail the whole thing. It almost happened for a second, but he reeled it back in and actually kept going with more interaction.

@@johnnyblack3676 one hand is inside the puppet to control the mouth and head, while the puppet hands, which have metal rods attached, are controlled like chopsticks by the other hand. It isn't immediately apparent but, sometimes, when he stretches one hand to its maximum reach, he might briefly let go of the other (hence why it's always stationary and close to chest), to accomplish it.

They did indeed sell guns and ammo but they yoinked them from stores in late 2020 because of various shootings going about during that time. Can’t remember which specific one caused them to pull them from shelves though

I love the ability to improvise so many comedic quips towards the audiences comments and reactions, I feel like you could go in, just talk to every audience member one by one and quip at them and everyone would leave and feel satisfied

Had the pleasure of seeing Randy live 4 years ago at the Adelaide Fringe Festival (South Australia) and his rapport with the audience was fantastic, and a bit about him struggling to turn the of his book (due to his lack of fingers) really had to be seen to believe....two minutes it went on for and not a second of it was boring of 'un-funny'!! He's an absolutely fantastic 'live' performer 👏👌

South Carolina isn't in the northeast though. I know, I live there,....although if Randy came here you could call SC the pacific northwest and I'd still come see the show with no complaints.
