I love your videos. I watch them over and over hoping to retain everything you’re teaching. I love understanding how sewing machines work. I have a few at home (vintage) that I have been using to learn from. It’s fun to get them working. I wish you were my sewing machine guy (I live in Australia so no chance that will happen). My sewing machine guy just wants to sell me a new machine. Thanks for the videos super helpful.

@@bonnie7433 thanks for your kind words. And…… in case you hadn’t noticed, I AM your sewing machine man. We have a couple Bonnies in our family. Love the name. 😎👍

So, Randy, I am on my third 4452, and I obviously am on the treadmill. I refuse to use one as a doorstop! But I use the fire out of these machines. My 9960 is flimsy and I only use it for light piecing. I use the 4452 for sewing bags and use a walking foot. I sew lots of little projects that have batting, backing, etc., so what would you recommend as a sewing machine that would last and do heavy duty types of projects, as I described. I never sew denim! I use quilter’s cotton for most projects, and I have found the 4452 to be okay for that. What machine is comparable in sewing but of better quality that the 4452 so that I can stop buying the darn things! I have never oiled my machine as you explained in a recent video, but I’m going to take it apart in the next few days and do what you did. Is it important for me to get an applicator for the oil so that I just have a drop go in as needed. I’m 81 years old, but I think that I can do this! Thanks for your information! Pat Berne

FINALLY! That's the sewing machine I have that doesn't work right! You talked about it, but never showed how to use it!!

@@dogsareawomansbestfriend I’m in the middle of servicing ten machines tonight. I just have time to illustrate a few repair tips and troubleshooting tips. I rarely show how to use one. There are videos from sewing instructor type folks who do that on other channels. Maybe next time.
