I agree...that comp is way old school and needs to be updated. Just extend the barrel and slide and port it barrel & slide like new SA Prodigy and others. For me, as a edc consideration, I would prefer the polymer frame.

Love mine. I had the comp problems at first but after reinstall with loc tite no issues after a couple thousand rounds

Finally managed to snag one of these last week so this vid is timely. Agree with you that the design of the compensator is shit (I took it off immediately) and the lack of a tactile trigger reset is irritating, I don't care about hearing it, but I want to be able to feel it. I was hoping swapping the trigger out for an Apex would solve that problem but annoyingly all it did was make it worse. Strongly agree that the "loaded chamber indicator" hole in the top of the barrel is just beyond dumb on an optics ready pistol. Calculated kinetics optics plates are a must on these to help redirect the gas coming out of that port away from the lens of whatever red dot optic you have mounted on it. They don't completely solve the problem, but they help a lot. All in all, glad I got it, and it is a keeper, but it's not my go to for any specific use. Just falls into the category of "I wanted it, so I bought it."

I like mine but I had to take the compensator off because it would loosen after a few mags, I think its more a collectible gun than anything else for me, just because I would hate to give up the gun if had to use it for selfdefense…

Love the review just disappointed in the pistol. Thought it would be more accurate. The compensator is just in the way. I would take it off. Front sight being off is unacceptable especially in a performance center. I watched enough if your reviews to know you can shoot.
