We had both, the Evoque was a bit too small for us as a family so upgraded to the Discovery Sport which was a fantastic car.

@@rufdymond We weren’t using it as much as we liked after all the Covid nonsense so when the used prices were ridiculously high we took the opportunity to sell it. They really are lovely things.

DS is definitely for families with kids. Evo is for single or young couple. I picked DS over Evo because of the practicality to travel with kid

The Discovery Sport wasn't really my type. But the exterior looks of 2024 model are much better. I think it's becouse I prefer stylishness over ruggedness.

I have a discovery sport 2023 and its fantastic and btw mines truck opens automatically and closes automatically

@cinch first of all the speed and the launch it's a v4 but feels like a v8 and I like the duck mode snow mode

@cinch I own a Discovery Sport, I like the Evoque too but the insurance premiums in London make it hard to choose over the Disco.

How humiliating for that unregistered DS! Being compared to an Evoc: outrageous! They are similar in one respect though: you get to know your local Landy Service Centre equally well whichever you buy. Sorry, was that a bit cynical? No! I didn’t mention insurance 😮

Ugly looking heaps of junk. Bring back proper Land Rovers like the original Discovery and the real Defender. Check Trustpilot reviews before you buy into Land Rover or Jaguar. NZ and Oz mechanic's most common quote: "Only Fools and Poms buy European brands!" Land Rover, BMW and Audi bottom of list in J D Power review.
