Range Rover L322: Ukraine to England & Back 2838 miles will it make it...

My father took delivery of a discovery ES7 TD5 in 2001 from Merlin Land Rover in Cardiff.. nearly 25 years later it’s now my wife’s daily car and we’ve done some very long trips in the old girl. First one was when it was about 7 years old down to Alicante from Bristol which was around 1400 miles, that was non stop via Calais.. kids and wife slept and I just carried on trucking! We’ve done the Artic circle in it with a trailer, all up around Scotland and most of Europe.. we hit country number 20 in it last year on a trip to the Alps.. 215,000 on it now and she still provides great service and does it in comfort! As you said, regular services and maintaining them is the secret. Great to see somebody showing what these vehicle are capable of rather than the normal LAND ROVER hating!

@@PillSharks Fantastic to hear that, the series 2 some say was the last of the the true discovery a proper off roader as well. They use them here in Bukovel for off road trips in the mountains in summer and winter as also a 7 seater, something I actually want to do in mine next year if they’ll let me

Hi thanks for the comment appreciated, so on the way to England I was sticking to around 65 - 75 mph and I got an average over the journey of 29.4mpg on the way back 70 - 85 mph and got 32mpg but had it remapped and egr delete (software)
