Thanks for another video - the bottom tailgate snaps closed so quickly now. The cable will slide nicely on what looks like chromed outlets. Perhaps a version 2 of the part. I noticed rust on the interior flap hinges. Is water getting in? Does this account for the shrink-wrap on the carpet section?

lol , Its not rust its copper grease for lubrication , and the shrink wrap is to protect the carpet from my dogs jumping on to it when getting in & out the boot

Hi did you replace the ram for closing the tailgate as mine closes 90% then l get a double beep and fails to close completely
