Rogers and the players embarrassed the club today. Only CCV gets pass marks, everyone else was absolutely stinking. Scales and Hatate should have been off at half time, but Brendan did nothing to change it at half time, absolutely pathetic. They played exactly as we knew they would, but the team weren’t set up to counter it. We have zero creativity in the team, especially midfield, we need a creative midfielder and an enforcer in the 9:34 mold of Brown, and a winger. If Trusty can’t be trusted, we need a centre half too. Brendan out managed by Skeletor, he should be embarrassed. Only Sevco wanted the win, that is totally unacceptable, and on the manager. Losing 3 - 0 to that Sevco team is embarrassing

Rogers aloo was complacent and failed to motivate the team at half time and never changed tactics. 2) McGregor playing tippy tappy football with the defence rather than being brave on the ball by getting it forward quickly. 3) Nobody is mentioning. the elephant in the room.......the team were scared and intimidated by the crowd, they lost their bottle..

Tactically, the Brugge game was a turning point for the club. Our basic formation no longer works. McGregor is now really easily nullified even by mediocre players. Playing through McGregor is too slow and teams can put two players on him knowing that the ball's going there regardless.

The home advantage played its part in that the Celtic players were spooked into playing passes too quickly - several times players missed their passes and put the ball out of play several times. The Rangers team is not as bad as folk say, while Celtic are not as good as many think. Rangers thoroughly deserved this win. The Celtic players were well off it. He should’ve changed it up cause we played right into their hands from kick off and this time we didn’t escape with anything. Also Calmac- after going behind within the first 10 mins. Calmac should’ve rallied and fired up his team, during the game he seemed to be escaping into his shell, which is not what a captain does. Imagine broony was captain today? After going behind he wouldve fired up the team, won the battle and we could’ve easily turned it around. I still love these 2 men and continue to appreciate everything they’ve brought to our club, but today was not their day and they have to accept and learn their lessons because that was not a captains performance and Rodgers got it all wrong for the 2nd derby running 🍀🍀

Couldn't agree more with Callum on almost everything there, particularly on Scales and Hatate. Scales shouldn't wear a Jersey again, unless the defence is threadbare, and should be out the club in the summer. Hatate should be sold as soon as there's a willing buyer. £3 million would be good value on that form. Callum is wrong on one thing - It's the games against the rest of the league that is the difference. I'll be putting money on Hibs on Sunday.

Another thing to take into account. I believe Clement became a bit obsessed with beating us in this game after losing the league cup final and feeling it was "unfair". They rested key players in the two games before the derby and dropped 5 points, which I honestly believe he was happy to do if it meant getting one over us. They had all the motivation yesterday, you can understand them being so fired up, but as Rogers said, it's not an excuse for us not to turn up and show so little in the game. Really disappointing.

Callum's right about Hatate he's been dug meat for months he looked as if he didn't want to be there but he wasn't alone yesterday, not one player gets pass marks there was no fight from anybody. We saw the threat they posed in the League Cup Final but we didn't learn from it, having said that it was one game we lost we've been brilliant all season but the Ibrox club wanted it more yesterday and sometimes results like this can happen. As a team we had an off day that's not normal and Brendan needs to earn his money now and get this team back up for Sunday as St Mirren took that sevco side apart seven days ago. There's no need to be concerned as it's only one defeat and it could turn out to be the best thing that happened to us as the players might've been thinking we'll canter this league well yesterday was a reality check we needed to show you have to put in the work to get your rewards and I think yesterday's result will prove to be an outlier and it'll be the kick up the arse to say nothing's given to you it has to be earned HH

But there is a *chance* they get their act together. Yesterday was a rare rubber stamping opportunity that we missed. They missed theirs in 21/22. But at least they couldn’t financially afford to utilise their chance. What’s our excuse? Tired of winning? And ignore all the “focus on ourselves” bs. That’s always been spin. If you disagree, consider Arsenal not caring how Liverpool are getting on this season. It’s *never* been true. Your rivals always matter.

Rangers fan here throwing a curveball. I genuinely believe today was actually a pretty good result for Celtic in a strange way and while obviously not a bad one for us, for me i think it's basically confirmed why we should have fired Clement in the summer. My main reason for saying it’s a good result for Celtic is because I think it’s a scoreline that will force the Celtic board and the manager to think about making some changes in the way a 1 - 0 wouldn’t have perhaps. But, from a Rangers fan’s perspective, it wasn’t quite the 5 or 6-0 thrashing we wanted (and it probably should have been) to at least give us some proper “bragging rights” for the first time in years as I think it was the most one sided old firm game I’ve seen since the first Rogers era at Celtic. I think this was in the post for Celtic. Since the Brugge game it's been pretty apparent that there isn't a plan B in terms of an attacking approach against a half decent opponent that plays aggressive mid-block to nullify how Rogers wants to play. I know youse scored three in the cup final but two of them were basically howlers from Rangers from a defensive point of view. Your players definitely have looked a bit tired of late as well because the style of play is also super demanding physically and I think it’s showing when you play any teams outside of the other 10 premiership sides. My main worry now is that the Celtic board will panic a bit and buy a proper partner for Carter Vickers and Rogers will be forced to go back to the old drawing board a bit and think up a proper alternative approach in build up to counter what teams are starting to do against you. Knowing your board and manager, I don’t think either of those things would have happened if it only finished 1-0 as they’d write it off as a minor slip up with the league already basically secured. My main gripes with Clement are one that it took him a year and a half and 6 attempts to figure out what the Zagreb and Club Brugge managers got intuitively probably from only having seen Celtic play a couple of games at most. And more importantly, that he is incapable of doing his bread and butter stuff, the area where Rogers excels, just beating the dross and taking care of business. I know Celtic have a better squad but there are no excuses for Rangers away record this season, it’s beyond pathetic. That’s why youse will win the league and deserve to do so.
