Wow the similarity to a beach house I have up in the far North of California is really uncanny. So much so I think that it's a structural plan build because it's dead on. I suppose the only difference is the beach, one assumes. I love it mainly because of the juxtaposition of the beach and the extremely dense pristine redwood forest that surrounds the remainder of the land in which the property sits is amazing, the trees are so tall that the branches begin so high up that the forest floor is silent despite being home to a great many species of birds, not to mention the absence of sound producing insects like crickets. You guys have me beat in one pretty significant area, at least in terms significant to me anyway, snow. While it does snow at my place, the salt in the air really is anathema to snowfall like yours. Over all I can safely say you have exquisite taste. I really love the whole winter cabin, snow chalet vibe yours has, you guys have pretty great house.

Rania, I love snow too, but I live in southern Russia and we will get our snow only in January or even in February :( Probably I need to go to St.Petersburg, where snowing all winter.
