Pretty much what I already knew except that who you face matters. Facing other diamond and master borders do help. I've been 11-0 with Nike with a diamond border but 9-1 masters with sol and I remembered facing more bordered opponents when earning it. It was a lot more noticeable in duel where you could see the spike in points when defeating a masters border

I feel like certain gods are easier than others to get higher frames. I was grandmaster with amaterasu in joust for a couple games and had been playing my friend the entire time who was using scylla but he was only gold. We were performing similarly overall as well so it was confusing. I wish there was a more clear cut system that was trackable in some way.

I actually lost a masters border in duel for winning against some lower people, I think the opponents mmr is big factor.

The one confusing thing I want to know is my friend had 4 wins as Change and 1 loss. Although he wasn't on the leaderboard he did have a diamond boarder for her.

The leaderboards did not reset so he technically had the games played last split along with this split.

Since regression to the mean is a thing, the higher borders seem to be indicative of a lucky streak with the first ~10-13 games with a god. Good to know!

not necessarily i had a terrible losing streak with my anhur at the beginning of the season and had a gold border. now with 40+ games and a fat win streak i have a diamond border and #1 anhur in conq

I am a little bit late on this but i think the boarder is also based on how long a game last. I currently have a diamond boarder with hel and went 9-1. There is someone else however with a plat boarder being 14-0 with izanami. But every game he has has with her is 5 to six minutes long(he is a boosted player by the way.) Idk how right that is but that's what I noticed.

It's all about points. A guy who goes 15-0 against gold plat players would have 2200 points. But someone who goes 14-1 against diamond/masters players would have around 2500 points therefore they get the masters border and the 15-0 would have diamond, it's all about points and how high mmr your opponents are that you beat

To get a masters frame. you have to play at least 15 games. and have above 76% win/ loser ratio based off what i’ve seen.

It also depends on what MMR and rank you were at while achieving the wins. If you’re below diamond, it’ll take a higher win % and more games to get a GM border.

I honestly don't know. I've got a 97.30% winrate with 36 wins and one loss and I got a diamond border. My friend with a winrate of 69% (which should be diamond) has platinum. it's confusing.

I got an idea maybe if you reach out to Whisky Wyrm (youtuber) you guys could make a video going back into smite history maps and gods and explain their old abilities like you do in your video but you can never show a preview, you guys collaborating could make a really good video and you probably could come up with some ideas because his videos are kinda insane when it comes to animations for SMITE which is difficult and also getting all the older files. Would love to a col-lab.

I have no proof for this statement but I have had many experiences in ranked joust with border acquisition and loss. I believe win rate is a factor like you said, but in order to get a master border you must achieve a certain point threshold that is specific to each god leaderboard. I have had master borders go from masters to diamond after one loss making my record 13-1 by your statement I would keep my border. I think why I lost my border was because of the 100ish points I lost and thus I fell below the threshold. Once again I have no actual proof of this, but I have seen this multiple times to know win loss is not the only factor effecting borders.

To get master border i think besides the win rates, the scores might also be a factor.. To get on the leaderboard you need at least a fixed ammount of wins (no matter the losses) so you can get to for example 2285 points. Every leaderboard has max 100 players so to get on that, you need more points than the 100th player. Smite however doesn't show you how many points you currently have off the leaderboard and doesn't inform you on how many you get/lose every time you win/lose..Yesterday i was diamond Arachne with 13-1 and there was only a Master ranked Arachne with 15-0. Long story short afk, dc and some ppl who played conq for the first time (no joke) made me go 13-4... Smite used to reward 1st positions with gems but said they are stopping it, if they haven't already so it's more about prestige now. Nice content btw, keep up the good work! :)

Not true. Back in season 3 when I was making the climb out of Bronze I had a masters border on Arachne for awhile.

They announced at the start of the season that they wouldn't reset the god leaderboards every split anymore. They should be reset with the upcoming mid season patch.

I was top five pele on console and was so closed to a masters border with i think a 73% win rate. Even with that i still lose games in ranked due to trolls so it dropped to i think 71% and i gave up on pele 😂.

you missed understood they were two different statistics so the 74.42% is the lowest win rate recorded with the border whilst the 10 games is a separate statisic showing the lowest games recorded, for all we know those 10 games could have been 10 - 0

I believe it is different because it’s a leaderboard system for each particular god. So that being said even though y’all have the same W/L % the leaderboards are different for each god. I hope that explains.

They should just have it set % of win rate for borders, 90% for masters, 75-90% for diamond, 60-75% for plat and under 60% for gold.

I've met 1 silver border playing Bellona support, and was amazing. Ever other border I've seen in conquest(bronze to platinum) is arena level scrubbery that can't build, can only play if their enemy laners/roles are far weaker then they are, and are the first to get salty over nothing, then get worse and worse as the game goes on and the salt gets worse. Had a gold border Bakasura jungle a few days ago, acted like he was on his first ever conquest game. Poor pathing, poor rotations, home teleporting every 30 seconds with full health and mana, and every gank he attempted was running up the lane past tower so the enemies can clearly see him coming before he gets there, and got salty at team for 'feeding',due to the enemy jungler camping in their lane, permanent 3V2, Can't sit under tower, nothing they can do about it. Still everyones fault except his. There should be an update to the system, so people with a border actually have some form of representation of their skills with that god.1

Lol the first time i ever played duel i played 10 games of medusa in a row and won all of them and had the masters border. I was "top 10" medusas in duel. This shows how bad they should rework that aspect of the game. Lol at best im a high plat Conquest player

Well two things. 1. The leaderboard is more about your skill with a certain God, so you could be a master level player with that Specific God but Average with all others. 2. Also Duel is definitely a lot different then Conquest. You could be better at the 1v1 of duel but bad at the 5v5 of Conquest.
