This started off well but fell apart towards the end. There is absolutely zero justification for Morel being that high. Remember, the Zodiacs were confused that Netero didn't ask them to help him with the ants and implied they were significantly stronger than Morel and Knov. These are the same Zodiacs who Hisoka took a look at (3 of them specifically) and said Illumi is stronger than all of them. Not saying he's above all of them but the fact that the three Hisoka sees are ranked below him says a lot. So Illumi being 8 spots behind someone who he is portrayed as clearly being above is odd enough, but then Zeno/Silva who are even stronger than him being under Morel is crazy. The whole Zeno/Cheetuh/Morel dynamic makes it clear Zeno is levels above them. Realistically the only person outside the top 5 that should be over Zeno/Silva is Chrollo and even that's arguable. Illumi should be quite a bit higher too just below Hisoka.

Yeah, I agree, the first 50 places or so were super good, but around the last 20 places it seems very off, I think chrollo, for example, is extremely experienced in combat and could probably down all three chimera ants(separately), but he is under Morel? Also Knuckle should be a little higher because of his combat experience as well.

@@vayne-he9yi That’s… a take. What metrics are you using to compare Morel to Hisoka or Illumi? I think no matter what, Morel is relative to them. He defeated Cheetu and killed Leol solely through his intelligence, combat experience, and mastery of his ability. Morel is clearly more of a combatant than people assume, after all he taught Knuckle - a very experienced H2H fighter skilled in aura control. He’s physically stronger and more durable than people give him credit for - a mere Smoke Trooper held down Cheetu by the rope, and Morel himself tanked Leol’s water attacks and water pressure. He has an ability arguably more versatile than Bungee Gum, is a better Nen user than either Hisoka or Illumi, and has more explicit feats of vast aura reserves.

For example, Neon’s ability isn’t meant for combat but has a really valuable ability for your lifespan (keeping yourself alive), strategy for before a battle (could describe the ability or how dangerous it is) or reusability since it doesn’t require much aura to keep and only needs 3 pieces of information.

Not necessarily, if kurapika never used chain jail (something only being able to be used against spiders) we don’t know how that fight would turn out. Uvogin was harming him even with emperor time on. If the battle continued but kurapika was never able to use chain jail, uvogin could’ve won.

@@boozados Fair enough! Just for some reason, I've always imagined Illumi being fairly equal to Hisoka power-wise given his own scaling. Since Zeno and Silva have much flashier, high-impact attacks than Illumi, I imagined they could take Hisoka in a fight. And without even looking at the new chart Togashi made with the mastery categories, I'm fairly sure Silva and at least Zeno are higher up (not to say necessarily that mastery means 'I could take someone lower on the scale than me in a fight' but yeah) But you're right, I don't know if either Silva or Zeno could take Chrollo alone. Hisoka did a pretty good job solo. So, who knows.

Woahhhhhh illumi, Silva, and Zeno are being underrated. Illumi is about equal to Hisoka. Morel is below them all as he's below the zoldics who Illumi is above. Zeno was powerful enough to fight Mereum alongside Netero. Pitou is definitely the most powerful ant.

Most of the chimera ants are pretty bad nen users, tbh. They have high brute strength and aura quantity, which is amazing against most opponents, but their actual usage of aura is generally pretty lackluster. It makes sense from a narrative perspective as a way to keep them balanced so it's actually possible to beat them. A character with the strength and intellect of someone like Meruem with an actual well thought-out Hatsu would be basically invincible.

Adult Gon 2.Maha Zoldyck 1.Don Freecss Explanation: It's been stated that Ging is amongst the top five nen users, with his talent to copy abilities at first sight I think it's fair to place him 8th. Chrollo has one of the most op abilities, with his iq he becomes untouchable. Pitou is self explanatory and Zigg successfully went and returned from the dark continent, Netero went to the dark continnt and he fought Meruem. True Adult Gon witih all the experience and iq he gained over the years would be even stronger, making him stronger than Meruem. Maha is hard to explain but he basically fought Netero and almost killed him. Finally Don Freecss, he wrote a whole book about the dark continent, and is currently assumed to be 300 years old.

Zushi over Pokkle and Shadow Beasts? In terms of potential - yes, in terms of skill - no. We are talking about nen users, Pokkle is a professional hunter, Shadow Beasts are the elite forces of ten dons, and then there is Zushi, who is an unexperienced student that fights only in heavens arena, while those guys fought in life or death situations against extremely dangerous opponents. Remeber when Gon and Killua trained with Binolt in greed island? Bisky stated that Binolt was a lot stronger than those two, even tho his nen ability is trash. Doesn't matter how much potential do you have, it all comes down to experience and your present fighting capabilities. A kid won't win against a professional (Gon vs Genthru is an exception, because Gon was using cards that have nothing to do with his nen abilities and he sacrificed too much for that win).

Actually I don't think like that. Unlike the other animes power system, nen system based on your imagination. What is deciding a result of fight isn't only your power. You need to use it clever or you'll lose. Knowing your limits, reading your opponents acts, thoughts and abilities are something vital on nen fights. Kurapika is quite intelligent, quick on his feet, levelheaded (and Pakunoda says that about him not me). Morel could be weaker than hisoka, he himselt said that he is not a fighter. Hisoka and razor each one alone could at least finish a royal gaurd. Being an animal makes you good at nen, but they lack experience incredibly. Edit: This could be a good video actually but i am not sure that all the royal gaurds are above the top players below. Also zero hand will probably burn shaiapouf until he dies, same with feitan shaiapouf is very vulnerable but has good potential to be more powerful.

Morel, bisky and razor on a topic of strength in combat are not touching the top 10. Also the idea that hisoka and razor could beat any of the royal guards is cap. Pitou was able to visualize and to some degree react to the speed in which netero musters his technique, and if that's the case the speeds in which pitou can move and understand are way too fast for hisoka and razor to be able to react to. Pitous en also has a 2k radius allowing pitou to auto react to any movement within it, they were also able to legit leap several kilometers in a single bound and blitz kite, gon and killua. By no means is razor and hisoka reacting to that speed, raw strength and accuracy that pitou has. Youpi is a legit tank, his raw strength is top tier and is easily 1 shotting hisoka and razor. Towards pouf, both razor and hisoka lack the destructive capability to finish him off so I'm sorry to say this take is horrendous. It goes to show that hisoka is one of the most over rated hunter hunter characters. The royal guards are not being touched by any non human character that is not adult gon and netero. Silva and Zeno in my opinion based on abilities, experience and combat are above bisky, razor and morel. Hisoka is debatable based on the feats that he personally had against Chrollo.

@@alvn4525 Cannot argue due to lack of info on razor, but i would not speak about him in terms of nen capacity only, although the phantom troupe was careful when getting close to him, who knows what kind of other ability he has, he was a one man army against bisky, hisoka, gon killua and the others, his nen projectiles deal incredible damage and can be passed by his nen companions, all i am saying, the royal gaurds lack experience lots of people has and i believe that is not taken into account well in the videos. Another example: hisoka vs youpi moving with bungee at incredible speed while throwing cards with incredible strength and sharpness with nen, this will weaken youpi, forcing him to create another ability or adapt in a way. The fight is undecided.

i don't think alluka should be this low. like all she needs to do to to win a fight is to make requests,, which could be stuff like "leave me alone", "surrender", "cut out your own eyeball" or "kill yourself" and if her opponent says no four times they just die.

Uvo is way too high. I mean he lost to kurapika and i dont see him beating killua either. I know that kurapika went in with an advantage beacause he knew about uvos ability but still, even if he knew kurapikas abilities i dont think he could ever defeat him. Uvo mostly lost because of chain jail, which is an ability only kurapika has that was specifically created for the purpose of beating the phantom troupe. His raw output was among the highest in the show and he is regarded among the strongest troupe members. He might be a couple spots too high but not by much

Kortopi is way too high on a list comparing combat ability. Its possible that he knows some basic aplications of nen and as a conjurer he can use enhancement techniques at 60% so he could be above Neon but otherwise he is dogwalked by anyone we see with actual combat experience. If you make it to Heaven's Arena then you can beat Kortopi

If you rate the Shadow Beasts and Pokkle under Zushi than I think you legit didn't watch the series, it's that insane. Just because they jobbed to the fucking Phantom Troupe (or a Chimera Ant commander which is strong and only looks weak cause they thought the Phantom Troupe) doesn't mean they're weak in the slightest
