New England is my favorite because of the aesthetic. The autumn colors and leaves remind me of Michigan in Dirt 3 and 4 which I loved because I’m from there. It also gives an ARA experience that can’t be had in other games.

new zealand not my fav but one thing I love the most about it while I have a wheel with forcefeed back, is going over gates, the most satisfying thing in any racing games

new zealand for me should be perfect as a kiwi but unfortunately I have a very niche nitpick about the stage that can sometimes make it borderline unplayable for me. For whatever reason, the roadside bollards they used on this stage are the aussie bollards instead of the actual bollard we use in nz, and it absolutely destroys my immersion without fail every single time. I can not comprehend how that oversight is even possible, but I guess they just already had the aussie bollard texture on hand and assumed it was the same. does my head in

Hmm, well after a lot or practice. Best for me is Scotland or Finland, flow on them is superb - fast and keeps me exited everytime I drive. Worst - Argentina without a doubt, it is the only location I don't like to drive on, slow parts on it are sooo not fun. So when I have 12 rally championship, its the one I exclude. Most beautiful rally for scenery is USA no cap - fall on it is just sooo warming and nice, i'd love to be there in real life. U said it is easy, well, somehow I don't do too well over there, by hitting some hidden log :D. Also Wales and Sweden looks amazing!

Monte Carlo is easily my favorite, it's just such a unique challenge, I enjoy tiptoeing and balancing the car with the pedals around the full icy bits, looking for bits of dry road and fishing for grip in the inbetween parts, and trying to hit that perfect racing line through the fully dry asphalt part. I found it to be pretty much the only rally in the game that actually rewards careful and consistent driving, which is how you'd drive a rally irl, in all the others you need to send it and hope it works out otherwise you're just slow. Regarding Argentina, once you put a proper setup on it's just an insanely fun location, it's actually one of my favorites.

Favorite: Monte Carlo. Incredibly challenging but when you get it right especially in a RWD car, it simply becomes balletic and beautiful. This is a place where steadiness and patience rewards you with speed. I love taking the Stratos or an 037 through Monte Carlo time trials, dancing through the hairpins and sliding on the snow sections. I do agree the ice patches can be a bitch though especially braking in a Lancia (you’ll find yourself facing the wrong direction before you could even react it). Hate most: Argentina. People keep saying those who hate the Argentina stages are just bad at it and don’t want difficult stuff. Every time I go on it the car bounces up and down so much, my eyeballs bounce like squash balls too, leading to pain so intense I can’t physically see where I’m going nor comprehend with what’s coming up next. Tried softening the dampers and though it improved the bumpiness issue, the car was a bit waywood, leading to the rear of the car getting stabbed by rocks.

I actually really like Argentina but I still agree that the WRC games did it way better.

I don't have the money stages and didn't even know Scotland was in this game but my favourite is Poland rn Edit: I have it now and loving monte carlo :)

Australia is my favorite, it's got the biggest jump (or definitely seems like it?) and I just generally like the flow of those stages.

My favorite location in Dirt Rally 1 is Greece and my worst maybe Sweden. My favorite location in Dirt Rally 2 is New Zealand and my worst Argentina ( also I don't like the new England in USA because they have too much color )

How i unlock all the free maps in the quickplay ? I dont have USA yet, do i have to make progess in the career mode ?

You shouldn't need to unlock USA, if you just go into time trail it should be there. Finland, Germany, Greece, Monte Carlo, Scotland, Sweden and Wales are all DLC and have to be bought separately.

How can you rank New Zealand on number one? That location is so bad just because how te roads are kind of "in the ground" where if you drive just a little off the road you instantly start flying with no control over your vehicle

you can setup your car to where virtually every surface controls the same and predictable if you complain about certain stages thats you loose immersion bc you suck at playing and crash all the time that will kill the experience Australia is tight thats the nature of the stage every location has different nuances you gotta adjust to

new zeland is trash no jumps most bland borning stage its one of the easiest. finland wales scotland greece poland top five everything else is preference
