Ranking ALL 32 NFL Teams UGLIEST Throwback Uniforms

A couple things: the early AFL teams were definitely undergoing an idendity crisis until they finally found the uniforms that worked. The Broncos first uniforms were actually from a college all-star game, the team had no money. I remember hearing that the uniforms were so bad that the team decided to burn them, and I remember on NFL Prime Time, Trey Wingo described those unis as "UPS Meets the court jester". I had no idea the colts had silver pants. And the silver niners helmets made them look like Ohio State.

As a Philadelphia native (And Colts and Giants fan) I want to give an honorable mention to the Eagles white helmet era and the Colts dark blue helmet throwback. The green wings on the helmet looked like a tv network logo and the two different colors of blue clash horribly.

So before black, there was silver for silver's sake? And wow, those mammogram Cardinals uniforms! I will say that I actually like those ribbed Ram's horns. Speaking of the Rams, I think the NFL shoud retire the dishwasher white color and mustard to prevent any future use in the league.

The Broncos' brown and yellow uniforms were STRAIGHT DOPE. Awesome. You were too easy on the Lions' black jerseys. They screamed MATT MILLEN.

The Colts' silver pants were a Frank Kush dick move. And Rod Dowhower kept them. Getting rid of them was one of the few good things Ron Meyer did as an NFL coach.

The Saints need to return to the darker shade of "old gold" they originally wore. It looks much better than the lighter shade of gold they've worn since 2000.

The Chargers' 1988-2006 dark blue (almost black) uniforms were much, much worse than the Air Coryell ones.
