I prefer 2X to THPS 1+2. Firstly, i don't like the look of the levels in 1+2. Also, they used the original THPS1/2 versions and not the 2X/THUG2 versions with added spots. The create a Park is incredibly glitchy and the Create a Skater is missing many options. Also, there is a lack of unlockables - only 2 Secret Skaters and no secret levels plus only a few cheats. The biggest thing though is that progression is shared across skaters meaning you only have to beat the game once which really kills the replay value for this game. I also find the added challenges boring and mostly pointless. Also the online sucks but that is apparently going to be fixed in an update. While 2X lacks the moveset from later games, i don't really think this is an issue as the levels weren't designed for the later features. Also, even though it's exclusive levels suck - it's still more variety and more levels overall - plus the game has lots more unlockable cheats and characters - It has Spider-Man. Also i never understood people's complaints about how they kept the THPS1 scores the same - if you are a big enough fan of the series to play an obscure Xbox port of THPS2 which was USA exclusive then you probably would have no problem with the scores anyway.

It really sucks that most people can't see the beauty behind American Wasteland, it was one of the best Tony Hawk games in the series and so many people just complain about small petty crap when other games in the series were much shorter and less entertaining with less to do

I hated proving ground growing up for being slow and boring, but it really has a lot of depth in its mechanics and challenge design. Playing it on RPCS3 with reshade and 60fps is transformative. I don't know if it's my favorite, but it's much higher in this form. All the game really needed was some color and optimization.

You missed THPS3 on PS1/N64 and THPS4 on PS1 and THPG on PS2/Wii and also P8 on PS2 kinda, but that's similar to the PSP version, but considering you chose THUG2 and THUG2R it's missing, too. And there was THPS on N-Gage, even that can be emulated now. But for some reason the emulator is set to 60fps standard, so the game plays on double speed until you put that down to 30. (The Taxis are almost flying in 60fps, making it much harder xD)

I started (re)playing the games sometime after the Pro Skater 1+2 announcement, originally just out of hype but playing them inspired me to make a video out of it. Writing and editing took place from around the end of July to the end of September (when this released), so two months. I'd say it was fun but I'd be lying because half of the games are awful flip phone and Game Boy spinoffs, I never wanna see a skateboard again

It was just a comedic way of saying "this game features every colour in existence", it's not that deep man. It's common for negative things to be described with positive things for the sake of juxtaposition - in this case, Project 8 is meant to be a gritty, dark game, yet the mobile version completely misses the point and features bright, vibrant colours that represent happiness and joy (just like the gay pride flag). So the context here literally presents the flag as the embodiment of positivity. So I appreciate you calling out something you thought was homophobic, but rest assured it's the complete opposite case here
