2007 I was introduced to youtube and boy did I watch many things to death, including all of your old series. I really loved the storytelling and I could tell why so many Mario machinimists were heavily inspired by you. Waiting for each of those episodes to come out was like now trying to wait a week for a new episode of an anime to come out, it was that hype for me back then.

3:20 I can relate to being frustrated at people torturing and killing certain characters in every video. I remember back in the late 2000s when EVERY Smash Bros. machinima had Sonic die in it! That was literally 1000 times worse than the meme about hating the Ice Age baby!

The ENTIRE saga of Mario vs Oriam and what comes from it is always #1 for me. Peach's birthday though is one of my favorite standalone ones from this era, only topped my solar/lunar eclipse if we go outside of this list of videos. Will always be a special nostalgic channel for me.

2007, I turned 10 years old that year, and your channel started, pretty significant events in my life all things considered. I’m pretty sure Mario Jumps the Castle was the first of your videos I watched, or Mario vs Oiram, and I’ve been watching you ever since. There was some sort of fairy tale quality to seeing Mario go on all these outlandish adventures in a game I still wasn’t all that familiar with yet. That said, this year’s selection of videos wasn’t what truly hooked me, that honor goes to 2008, so I hope to see you rank those videos sometime too. Also while I remember the Line Rider game’s existence, I don’t recall seeing a video from you about it. Did you take it down?
