Last year I created a new neighborhood and used the Bluewater Village template. The game automatically generated and added the Pleasantview- type townies, just like in your earlier video (It was about adoption and how adopted babies are generated). After playing a while I realized i was able to recall everybody's name just by their appearance wihout even clicking on them 😆. Playing Sims 2 for nearly 17 years clearly has its effects. Childhood memories just never fade...

Love: Cassandra, Lilith, Alexander Like: Angela, Don, Nina, Darren, Dirk, Kayleen, Mortimer Dislike: Dina, Mary Sue And the rest is like whatever to me:D. But Cassandra is my total favourite. She seems mysterious and I have always liked her gothic dress and original hairstyle. Btw in my gameplay Cassandra always marries Darren and they have many kids and the twins have had an episode of switching their boyfriends. But at the end Angela came back to Dustin and Lilith is in a relationship with a university sim, the one with first face template, I believe his name is Castor Nova:D They are really made for each other.

Never in my 5 years of sims 2 have I heard anyone interpret Brandi's bio as wine, I thought everyone takes it at face value as well, she likes two completely random things

I instantly thought of wine, but maybe that's because I also played Phoenix Wright where "grape juice addiction" also seemed to be a substitute for wine and alcoholism. Or at least a nod to it, taken the rather lighter atmosphere of the game (excluding all the murders taking place). Brandi was always... Not the most highly functioning human in the Pleasantview imo.

Lol hard disagree on Don, he's my favorite, right after his son! I made Don romance Lilith after she dropped out of college, and they had a kid together, but continued to live separately. Lilith lived in a trailer with her toddler, but ended up having an "accident" while cooking. She died and child services came to pick up baby Juan from the empty household. Luckily, Don adopted the child and they've been living together ever since. Juan grew up to be the most handsome Sim I've ever had in my game - with green eyes, Lilith's face template, Don's hair and tanned complexion. The family went on many vacations together, where Don of course taught Juan his ways with women. On one of their trips to Twikki Island, Juan received a voodoo doll from the Witch Doctor. Now in his adult years, he romances EVERYONE - including old aunties Dina and Nina, and maid Kaylynn who is forever young... :D

I had my Coral become a plantsim and she made a couple of plantsim babies. Herb was just sort of there. I usually have the two of them mediate between the twins, so there's no hate between them before the Oldies die.

I'd say that makes more sense for Herb since he's the nature sim (Coral is film & litterature), and yk his name being Herb! I might steal that idea. Usually I think of him as a fairy but that doesn't work in sims 2, only 3... Don't even remember whre I got that headcanon from, but since as far as I can remember Herb is a fairy in my eyes

(except I'd put her in dislike or possibly even die oops, for the same reasons) I always thought she's quantity over quality when it comes to family, and she didn't seem like she communicated well with Dustin when that cool scripted activity came on for me for the first time as a child

I can understand your opinion on Cassandra, because she is given the "Family" aspiration, which does not suit her persona at all. In my opinion, she is one of the most mid "Knowledge" sims. I love your take on Daniel, but disagree with your take on Don Lothario (in my opinion, he is kind of the opposite of Daniel, in that he is actually a good father, but a lacks enough restraint to be a "good daddy"). With that said, I find Don's character self-satisfying, especially when he gets caught in compromising positions.

I turned the Oldies into vampires, divorced them, moved Coral with the Pleasants to help with the grandkids, and moved Herb into a new house where he started his own harem with the help of the no jealousy mod. I broke up Dirk and Lilith and Dustin and Angela, and instead married Dirk and Angela... only to kill Angela after giving birth to twins because I really disliked her. Mary Sue and Daniel also divorced and Mary Sue became Dustin's sugar mommy, while Daniel got Nina pregnant and moved in with her to raise their twin boys together. Oh, also, after Angela's death, Dirk decided to romance Lilith again and they also have a kid together.

Clearly Herb is not there because he's also in the tierlist template creator's Die tier. If I ever made a video like this, I would have to expand the tiers so that I had levels for "perfectly fine person, but boring character" (e.g. Coral Oldie, John Burb) and "interesting character, but not a great person" (e.g. Daniel Pleasant, Brandi Broke). I don't agree with you on a lot of the OTPs, but one thing we do 100% agree on is Childfree Lilith. In my playthroughs, she and Dirk part ways on good terms after realizing they're incompatible on that point, and remain best friends for life. Lilith is perfectly happy single or with an equally childfree partner, and sometimes plays Cool Aunt to Dirk's kids.

Your OTPs and headcannons about Pleasantview sims make my Pleasantview look boring and make me wanna restart it. I just finished round 4 and everyone basically ended up with the ones they were dating at the start, so Dina married Mortimer, Don, Nina and Barndi are still single, Daniel moved out and moved in with Kaylyn, Dirk is with Lilith, Dustin with Angie, Cassandra married Darren, and Lucy actually turned out gay (ACR) and just married Marylena, a townie she met at uni, and I actually think they are the only good match here, the others are so boring 🥱

@@addams0w0 In my game they kinda are tho hehe, I got them married, Dina moved in with Mort, got pregnant and gave birth to twins, Mortimer died and left them the money and house and thas't it. I don't really have any interesting plans for them. Dina is a single mother who doesn't have a job since she's rich and she doesn't really have any interesting wants except for buying expensive things. Maybe my game is broken or smth Idk, but I started a new Pleasantview and am gonna make it more interesting this time.

Ahaha, funny. Thanks for the video! In my game Oldies are never boring. I usually make them do things from hobbies and focus on it, and Herb usually is not really fair, Coral took once a VERY young boy (in his mid 20s, but hell they had a crazy chemistry) as a candidate to marry one day before she dies and he took all of Oldies money and I made everyone in the town hate him because they thought he just committed fraud of even killed Coral, but he truly loved her :.), but in my current letsplay they are unbelievably crazy. Coral picked romance as a secondary, and I came up with idea of having woohoo-buddies... And they had the good chemistry towards... Burbs. I. Am. So. Sorry. I have no excuse, but yeah, I let that happen 🥲 So it turned out to be swinger families with distant relatives and eventually Burbs started avoiding Oldies (the game started failing woohoo all the time, not sure why this started happening, but here we are), and Oldies let them go, thinking of getting new woohoo buddies 😅😅 Yep, they are more sexually active at their age than everyone else. Oh, and ACR made Herb to fall in love with Mortimer... I have no excuse for that either, but I asked to remain friends because this is too much even for me 😂 they are weird, true, but I never considered them evil. If Burbs are not ok anymore with it, then Oldies won't insist! They suddenly took all the interest in the city, overcoming those rats as Don and Daniel in my WTH has just happened meter 😂

Brandi I always see as not the best mother seen as she has a load of expensive stuff in her room which is made up all great and the kids are living with rubbish stuff… irresponsible parent too. Kaylynn is another, for family sims they were both awful parents in my save 😂

Angela Pleasant is definitely in the love category. If a home is short of space, the double bed should be the first to go. It takes up an entire room without leaving space for other essentials like a dresser that also doesn't double as an end table. Brandi Broke is a baby making queen tended by workers of the crime family. You can't rank the dead people, because they have no properties, story or actions.

Why do we all make Beau gay? It’s so common - there’s so many of us who do it but there’s nothing in the canon to suggest it. My Beau usually ends up with Tycho Curious in a megahood, or the next son of Daniel Pleasant and (Mary-Sue/Kaylynn) if it’s just Pleasantview. I think I got him together with Lucy Burb once and it felt weird because he is just always gay to me, but why? LOL! Edit: I also have Lucy and Dirk together in my current game (although they’re a bit further away in age)! Dirk starts off 15 and Lucy starts off aged 8 but 7 years is okay - they just never got together until after Lucy aged to adult. They’re really cute as a couple.
