A good solution for the gigantic sims 2 forehead is just downloading hairlines. They appear in the accessories section, and for me really mostly solved the issue. I could use having more of them though

The question about a computer compatible with TS2 is always funny to me as well. Nowadays you can get a pretty trash PC or laptop and it will PROBABLY run TS2 just fine.

I remember the first time I downloaded a heavily customised sims 2 sim and had them have babies with a sim I made using the regular face templates and the babies were demons when they aged up 😂

I would take a guess that their game files are corrupted. Considering they cannot even use sliders, then something is very wrong. If I were them I would have tried without all downloads to make sure the problem continues, then if it’s still an issue I’d just reinstall. It seems to me like something in the core files is broken.

I once accidentally deleted the base clothes template when deleting cc clothes and it broke all the clothes 💀 I had to reinstall lol

That's what I thought too, because it happened to me when I accidentally deleted a default replacement. I didn't have this particular problem but I couldn't use the sliders and body shop wouldn't load

For me body slider issues were because of some incompatible default slider. Def could either be (outdated mods) mod conflicts or game corruption

I actually had more issues getting TS2 to work on my Windows 7 PC than now on Windows 11. I followed PleasantSim's modlists both times (and I'm sure I wouldn't have made it without them ;)).

I got an ad for those labs that find out your family tree for you. Really considering to contact them and just go: "Hey guys, can you find out my Sim's ancestors?" Then watch how they react.

Neverending birth glitch happened to me in The Sims Castaways Stories because of mod and game version (?) conflict. I downloaded mod which allows you to choose family name of father or mother for child. Game was not able to give me an "Choose family name for this child" sign and just spawned birth. Some other mods doesn't work in Sims CS too, but this was something XD About "don't fence in stray on lot" Yes, it works in my game. I am always trapping Wolf leader this way for my sim to became werewolf. And wolf leader gets -2 in relationsip.

On my legacy with half alien and a female townie, I had NO IDEA about first born. Their first baby was a tanned girl with 0 Allen generics, they were both family sims so I had 6 more babies and ALL were male clones. So I had a tanned female look like her mother, 6 males like their dad. So it was their 2nd baby that cloned, not from the first girl. I never knew about re-rolling the dice. I wish I’d known

3:05 Well, I learned “not a 30 series nvidia card.” I had an Rx 480 the Sims 2 ran perfectly with, that graphics card (along with the rest of the PC) died, so I got an RTX 3060Ti. And, well, the game had no idea how to use this card and would give me purple soup and constant crashes. There is a fix for this, but it’s not foolproof and I still get plenty of crashes that never happened before I upgraded. A graphics card that is at least 5 years old would be the safest bet if you’re exclusively playing The Sims 2.

Sims don't remember their bed, but they remember which type of clothes to use when they automatically do the sleep so sims that use to sleep in underwear will sleep in it automatically, that is the one that i notice in the sims 2 game

About new computers: my mom bought a laptop for work, a not very fancy gaming laptop (because she works with graphics) with Windows 11. Now we share it and she doesn't have any work, so i installed Sims 2. It works perfectly with only graphic rules maker and 4gb patch applied. Meanwhile on my own laptop at home that has windows 10 with all those applied i still get random crashes and pink flashing. So yeah, you also need luck :)

I never had problems with Sims 2, and I have Windows 10, it still works completely fine, it does glitch sometimes. But not as bad as Sims 3, to my annoyance, I hadn't saved, and my son didn't age up :I

Windows 10 and 11 handle sims 2 way better than 8. I remember how much trouble we had when 8 first came out. So many people struggled to get the game to run

in my game brandi ended up non-married (darren is with cas, and don is (!) with dina) and she raised her great son, because his mom (and brandi’s daughter) was impregnated by gay Burbs son. yes. and she just was fed off and escaped with a random townie guy. but died soon. sooo happy ending

The smart bed mode doesn't work well in my game. Whenever a couple shares the double bed it glitches or resets them. I use the uni dorm doors or any other door to look out for one sim only. The couple rooms have 2 doors. It doesn't look great but that's the way I go with it in Sims 2.

You just need to clear bed ownership for couples sometimes, bit it is annoying when they glitch like that
