My opinion : 5th: Sailor Moon Super S (most of the episodes were boring i think) 4th: Sailor Moon Sailor Stars ( attacks were so exaggerated and i dont like the attire of sailor moon in this season) 3rd: Sailor Moon (first season) (everything was fine but the last reveal could be more remarkable and i wish i had seen queen metalia in a human body) 2nd: Sailor Moon R (the episodes were soo exciting, ail and ann were so adorable btw. My 2nd fav attack is in this season. [Moon princess halation/elimination] the last epispdes were kinda weird i think) 1st: Sailor Moon Super (the episodes were so good. I like all enemies in this sesson. Transformatios/Attacks are my favourites. I like how all the senshi appeared in this season. But i wish they had put more time to other enemies in witches like kaolinite.)

I agree in your last comment. S could have been much more explored. How/why did Tomoe bring Kaolinite from the dead? A big problem a find in that season is the amount of time the senshis (all of them) are wasting when they could be developing an offensive strategy, trying to look for the Death Busters secret place. Also Sailor Moon basically helping Mistress 9 by giving her the Holy Grail was out of character, even for her.

5th: Original Season 1 There are some good moments here and there and the episodes were it is just Usagi and Luna can be funny, however I find the filler in this season to be the most boring, and not having all my girls together really hurts the experience for me. The show is all about the friendship the girls have for each other and by the time they all come together there is like only 9 episodes of the season left. The season finale however is a standout in the whole series. 4th: R R has some stand out moments, I like the new attacks and transformations and the villains are far better than season 1. The Alan and Ann arc is terrible imo and the focus on Chibusa can be tiring since she is really annoying this whole season and she really drags it down. The time travel stuff isn’t the best I have to admit, and the final boss is underwhelming i prefer the minion villains. 3rd: SuperS Maybe it is nostalgia talking but I really enjoy this season. I grew up with this one and S so maybe I am bias but I found the fillers to be really funny and the character interactions to be at some of its best this season. I love the Amazon Trio as well one of my favorite villains of the whole show. While Chibusa was hard to swallow in R, for SuperS she much more tolerable and I actually enjoyed her this season. Cons are definitely that it has the most filler of any of the other seasons and while I didn’t mind it I can see why some people maybe turned off from it. 2nd: Stars Stars is the final season so of course it would need to be one of the best. Great fights, interesting filler and new characters and some great villains, plus the ending is beautiful. Not much negative to say about this one really love the darker tone. 1: S S is my favorite because mostly of the outer scouts with Neptune being one of my favorite characters. The back and fourth between the inner and outer soldiers is done really well, I loved the “are they friend or foe” themes for the first half of the season and with them being really cold adds some great drama. Some of the best villains and with the awakening of Saturn at the end was amazing. Nothing bad to say about this season really. Like Stars it’s crafted really well and keeps you on your toes at points through the story.

While the topic of ranking Sailor Moon seasons is always interesting, I think you could add subtitles to your video and/or speak in a clearer voice, because it was difficult for me to understand what you were saying. As far as the content is concerned, I respect your ideas and find them valid, if somehow pretty standard since this exact same order is one of the most usual. But I would have preferred if you develop some ideas a bit more, for example, why Season 1 wasn't "your cup of tea". While I don't yet make my mind up about this ranking after all these years, I have some things pretty clear. Stars is my least favourite season. It didn't add anything, it wasn't as emotionally engaging as any of the previous four and the romance between Usagi and Seiya was a complete waste of time, since I knew she would end up with Mamoru sooner or later. The presence of the outers there was completely pointless and, at least for me, much more frustrating than their abscence in SuperS. Hotaru and Chibiusa's interactions could have been explored again since what had been built in S, yet we almost didn't see her (not even her transformation!). Yes, Stars had the best animation and art of the series, but is not enough for me. It didn't also feel as the final season, but just one more. Its final battle wasn't as compelling as any of the previous others.

Thank you for your Comment, and yes my commentary skills are not as developed but I will try to improve them in order for the viewers to better understand what I'm saying, also what I meant by "not my cup of tea" is that season 1 is a bit slow paced and I don't like animes with slow paced storylines :)

I think Stars was one of the most “emotionally engaging” because Usagi lost everything she loved in one day. Mamoru never replied to Usagi’s calls or letters. She thought Mamo had ignored her. Just for Sailor Moon to find out he died months ago. Usagi was so devastated to find that out moments after all the inner senshi died. That is just one said moment in stars. Season 1 made me cry the most but season 5 was second.

@@powder5784 Agreed, stars was my favorite because it broke the stupid rule of destiny between mamo and Usagi which was already so toxic! He was more like a father figure to her, and Seiya was this refreshing young guy of the same age.

@@powder5784 I strongly disagree that it was the most emotionally engaging. I think it's easy to see that way because it was the last season. But Classic and R were much more stronger in that aspect. Not only Mamoru and Usagi's dynamics, but also Naru and Neflite and Chibiusa whole trauma of not feeling loved by her parents. Mamoru and Usagi broke up in R and I saw it as traumatic, that scene of her crying in the telephone cabine. For me, nothing of what came after surpassed that. The inner senshi also died at the first of Classic and the whole scene with Usagi's voice wishing to have a normal life was really more compelling. I tend to see Stars as a collection of missed oportunities. Why not expand Chibiusa and Hotaru's friendship? The outers life now that they could be allies with the inners. The whole drama of the Starlights against the inners felt to me like a recycle of S.
