Ranking all the Eyeshadow Palettes I tried in 2023!

I’m not a dramatic eye makeup wearer and the way that I can make the Nearly Neutral palette work for my preferences is applying the shimmers with a fluffier brush similar to a MAC 217. Doing it this way gives off the prettiest twinkle to the eye rather than wham bam metallic.

It’s hard to pick just one but I’m going to go on record and say that my favorite eyeshadow palette I’ve gotten and tried this year was the Nars Laguna Eyeshadow quad, I got it back in… July? August? It was the perfect little summer quad and I think it will be perfect for traveling as the shades are perfect for that soft vaycay look I like to do when we travel or even just get away for the weekend.

New to your channel - hello! You made me snicker when you said “It’s ColourPop, it’s probably not even available anymore.” 😊 I know what you mean about building up the hype and then when it finally arrives…it’s still just an eyeshadow palette. It’s helpful for me to keep that perspective when I’m tempted to buy all the things (which doesn’t happen because I usually buy secondhand on a perpetual low buy). And when you described the “too gold” shimmers in the Lunar palette as you’re wearing a gold shimmer😂😂😂 I’m gonna go check out your other videos.

Out of all the palettes you mentioned I only have the glaminatrix palette. I noticed you’re more on the natural side. I completely agree with you regarding PM palettes, they are so expensive and for nothing because they’re so repetitive. Btw.. I thought it was funny when you said you don’t wear impactful shadows during the day or that the occasions don’t call for it and I looked at the phone and said why not? 😂 I do it lol I got to lunch at 2:30 and I’m wearing smoky eyes or glittery shadows lol thank you for the video, I always enjoy watching you. I do have both! I personally prefer the PT formula so I recommend that one. I’ll be decluttering the makeup by Mario one in my next palette declutter. But I think both are good!

Enjoyed your ranking until I accidentally puked inside my mouth when I saw a Cover Girl shadow ranked over non other than the BB All Done Up palette. Yes, I respect your preference for your "skin complexion" BUT still it was rough to watch 😅.
