Well, I think the tie adv v1 is one of the nicest looking ship right next to phantom :) But that is the point we may just ahve different aesthetic taste :)

Interesting video, loved it. Interesting to hear the comment about the E tier and that you don't get an E grade. Over here in the UK, until only a few years ago (when they changed to a numerical system) We had A*, A, B, C, D, E, F, N, and U grades.

I've tried everything to make Tie Interceptors work. Unless you put stealth, afterburner, Marksmanship on them, and have gas clouds. They just don't have the stamina to last a whole game. I know why Afterburner just makes them more flexible because you can come out of a red maneuver still boost. Or you can 3 turn, boost , focus ,stress barrel roll. So many people try to slow play Interceptors.

Kind of wish they swapped the innate abilities of Interceptors and Strikers.The pre-manouever boost suits Interceptors thematically better and would have them see more play.

@@whittaker007 It's better now because of the price drop on afterburner. Before you could run 3 with a academy tie. Now you can run. 3 with 30 point tie/In Gideon Hask is my choice/marksmanship. Bait turn Gideon/ come in fast hard from the left or right side with the 3 Interceptors or you can trick shot/gas cloud.

One thing I just realised (although very expensive) with the OS-1 title, the Starwing is currently the only ship (that I can find?) that has two torpedo slots. Proton Torps and Advanced Torps are hella nasty! Flown a couple of games with Vynder using them so far, alongside my boi Maarek and Sai with Palp onboard... yeah it stings! That being said, points change coming up so the list might have to change, but also I've only done a couple of games so will see how I go going forward xD

For looks Interceptor and Defender are S tier, gunboat is A or B, Bomber is A, Striker is F.

Meta: I really wish that TIE Interceptors, V1 and Aggressors get a helping hand. I also feel that there needs to be some boost/change to the gunner options, sick of only seeing Vet Turret Gunner and rarely anything else (BT1 and Fifth Brother are exceptions, but are also unique...) particularly now that the phantom lost a crew and gained a gunner that doesn't do much for it. Looks: I know it's not on the list but for a TIE model I really like the Avenger: I got a Mels Miniatures of one and fly Maarek in it religiously :P Top 3 in this list for me would be Defender, Striker and Starwing. I really like the phantom design because it is a break away from the typical ball cockpit, but I think I have nostalgia bias because my first star wars PC game was Rebel Assault II where the phantom appeared :p

Oh Tie Advance V 1...how far you've fallen. It's one of my favorite ships. But the lack of a decent PTL just makes it worthless. Maybe if the force redlex wasn't the cost of a ship it'd be useable. I miss flying the inquisitor though. Bums me out to be honest.

it was until a FAQ ruling stopped them for just flying over debris however it was still good. the problem now though is that its gained shields, the ship ability and juke. its stupid trying to hit these things...3 dice behind evade focus is just rough to punch though, back that up by 4 shields and 3 hull is already bonkers. times that by 3? super no.

Leah needs a points hike, but these are also very different situations! Defenders are a 4-speed k turn and you can fit a max of two in your list (and no one is doing that successfully as far as I've see), while Leah can only be used once ever couple turns at best.

The Aggressor looks good .. sleeker and faster looking than the X1 .. but then they slapped that awkward looking turret on it. I love the Aggressor but even for me it is D tier.

S: Tie Phantom, Tie Bomber, Tie Advanced x1 A: Tie Punisher, Tie Reaper, Alpha Class B: Tie Interceptor, Tie Fighter C: Lambda D: Tie Striker, Decimator E: Tie Aggressor F: Tie v1 I'm 100% right Dion, 3 I1 Defenders is STILL I1, they'll die quickly without hurting anything. They need to be cheaper. And make those I1s 63 points base. In fact a seven point break would be lovely. Of course mine is combined looks and gameplay. Phantoms and juke, 'nough said. I still kinda miss them being 4 reds but oh well. Bombers are still good missile and bomb carriers, and underrated maneuverability. And Jonus is such a good support boy. The Advanced x1 is sick and sweet. Vader, Maarek and Ved are awesome. Ved is highly underrated. Punisher is still dead sexy, it needs protons to come back down to 9 points, but I think plasma torps could be good for it. Reaper is the sexiest ship in the game. I love this ship. It's better then the space cow in everyway. It's a Ferrari to the Ford truck that is the lamb. Alpha class is dead sexy and with it's slams hard to catch AND unlike the useless K-wing it can slam and shoot. And Dion I USE SABERS! In a swarm they are evil. Butttt…. they do die to a stiff breeze. The Tie Fighter would be trash without Howlrunner and the Inferno squad, I've hated the basic tie fighter's looks too but with Howl and with Inferno the lethality can not be ignored. Lambda is ugly, but it's a good shuttle, it does what it's supposed to do. Strikers are good looking, but I dunno, I can never get them to work. I'd rather fly phantoms, or x1s or cheap defenders off my Tie Reaper's wings. No shields, 2 greenies, and 4 health doesn't do it for me. Countdown is nice but he's overshadowed by better options. Decimator is dead gorgeous, but it's hard to get it into face punch range, and it needs a support craft so it can get reinforce AND an action (not counting Tua, which doesn't work with the title.) I love the looks of the Aggressor, looks alone it's A tier for me, but yeah, gameplay...I've had success running them on Jonus's wings, and using ions to setup bomb traps but it's more fun games then serious. It's a little tougher then the striker though, but not as punchy. The v1....I hate. Not a big fan of the force stuff in star wars, jedi/sith never interested me and the only useable pilots are...force users. And it's basically an A-wing otherwise.
