Hey luv, I’m so glad you gave your opinion about these amazing beautiful little goddess. The Barbie Extra Line is what got me back into collecting Barbie dolls again, I thought they were so out of the box different than what other doll companies were making that I was intrigued. I have around 1K + dolls now. Barbie and other dolls got me out of a depressive state, I found happiness and reconnected to the lost child in me. Why does anyone have to ever stop loving or stop playing with their dolls ❤

Such a shame the line has ended specially now that the quality looked a bit better… The first Barbie Extra (the one with the rainbow coat) was the first Barbie I bought as an adult and started this damn addiction so she will always have a very special place in my heart

I own 18 of these dolls of these Extra dolls. I do like the line, but I agree with you on the fact that some of them are not so great. A lot of them I thought were yucky. Then I watched Barbination restyle many of them and loved them. That is why I have 18 of them, lol. I was surprised about the one with the blue fuzzy boots on I had never seen her before. It is always amazing to me to find something I have never seen in the doll community. The one with the blue hair, skateboard and white shorts and blue jacket I didn't like and then I saw Arjen from Barbienation straighten her hair and remade her and now I love her so go figure. After I saw his video I straitened my girls hair out as well and changed her body😅

The extra line of dolls is pretty cute but there are very few I love, mostly are way over the top with colors and patterns that turn me off. I really want the snow bound xt fly doll and Ken. The Xtra fancy with the all pink pleather dress is sooo pretty and I want her. I also saw the rumors of the line being canceled. Hopefully we'll get more dolls before. Makes me sad

Great review. No need to apologize if they are not your favorite. Not everyone has the same taste. My top 3 are Pink Pleather, Pink Barbie Print, and Blue Paisley. I think the line has reached the end. It's time for a replacement line. They have been out since 2020. Right now, some are at Burlington Coat for $9.99. I snagged a few of them because even though as a whole I may not like them. That Jam and Glam wannabe is perfect. You can split up her entire outfit into separates. Since she has high heel feet, her body can be used as a donor for other dolls that require heels.. I don't like her purple lips. She looks oxygen deprived.

I’ve got the one in the denim outfit with the poncho, she’s the only one I’ve got so far but I really like her, I totally agree about the hearts printed in the hair, I’ve been told with multiple boil washes they can be mostly removed. I’d love to have the Millie with the solid denim look and maybe the one in the solid pink too in the fancy line. Trying to grab a few before they discontinue the line. Thanks for sharing your review! I would have loved the one that favored Raquel with the silver and purple but I strongly dislike her makeup.

I collected all including fancy, 5 pack, playsets, deluxe except the barbie extra fly. I think fly abit flop too mych uv screening out of 3. I save money for better line and clothing though i only collected barbie due to their human like scale. I think the discontinue is for the best😅😅 love your review! Sub

for American taste -they dont like too much clashing colors,prints and patterns but the meaning of Extra for this dolls itself,it is all about- 'Stylings ', the doll line has this Extra for colors,details and accessories..meaning you have the freedom to mix n match and re-create a look😅

The idea of Barbie Extra seems cool but something about the execution would always be lacking to me. I feel as if they think Extra means throwing everything at the wall but like you, I think the most successful dolls are the ones with the more cohesive prints/color schemes. To me it feels like so much of the styles are dated and that a lot of Barbie is stuck in 2010 styles. Also for me, I swear so many of the Millie facemold dolls would pop so much better for me if she was allowed to have a darker lipstick color...

I am shocked how much I disagree with you. You ranked dolls off for makeup, while for the classic barbies you did not deduct point for hand literally same face and mound and hair color for over 5 dolls… my top would probably be the exact opposite. I did notice that they gave the classic Barbie/Millie dolls the more save and simple looks each time- and on the non Millie Barbie’s they experimented a lot more! I find it interesting but not surprising that they made the blonde classic Millie Barbies very similar and tame.
