Jade was (and still is) my favorite from the core 4 so I could be biased here, but since her thing in the "canon" was being the one who always went for far out and cutting edge fashions she def got some of the best looks (and pants) imo

The thing that really worked about Bratz dolls to me is that while a lot of their clothes are a bit aesthetically questionable and easily dated, a lot of their clothes were reasonably aspirational. I have to put a lot of effort into dressing like a Monster High or LOL OMG doll these days, but when I was younger I would just go to Kohls with my mom and pick out some mudd jeans and a top that looked comparable to some bratz clothes I had at home. I had a lot of Bratz because they were new at the right time to get me hooked. My grandparents actually commissioned a carpenter they knew to make me a dollhouse shaped bookcase with the cubby heights specifically measured to scale with Bratz dolls and their furniture. My first one was the original Meygan, and I had the silver tour bus! I always ask people who played with Bratz which color tour bus they had because it came in so many different colors over the years, and almost every Bratz kid seems to have had one. I feel like I have to mention this- Spring Fling Jade's purse had a great mouthfeel.

Just want to say that your videos are always so relaxing to me. With the winter line Im obsessed with the fluffy earmuffs and legwarmers. Im surprised Formal Funk Sasha wasn't in perfect! She's my favourite from that line. I wish I had her aqua dress but I do have her gold outfit. Yasmin is my second favourite but a lot of people think she's ugly coz she has a big forehead 😆

I feel like, as I learned more and more about the fashion of the time over the years, I found that the references, the color stories that were popular at the time, the silouhettes etc. I've come to appreciate and understand further.... and therefore come to love a lot of bratz dolls that I once felt meh about. I think understanding that is sort of what causes a lot of ppl to become so deeply in love with bratz and even the clunky funky looking ones, they sort of become the best ones over time (in mine & others opinions of course). a lot of your perspectives remind me of how I would perceive a lot of them when I first got into collecting haha

I’m more into the themed bratz line. My favourite is genie magic , treasurez (pirate themed) and sweet dreamz which is candy themed. However I enjoyed this video and I definitely believe the independence bratz cloe should be burnt.

Jade has and always be my bias (with Cloe in second). Despite growing up playing with Bratz, there's a ton of lines (especially the older ones) that I just do not like at all. 😂 Like there's always pieces I like in every line but I'm not a fan of the style. This is also coming from someone who still occasionally plays the Bratz console games and grew to like a lot of the lines showcased

the way Bratz recycled clothing pieces so much is so funny to me, Ik ppl hate it when they do that but I kinda don’t mind bc if I have a second hand doll that’s missing a specific piece that I want and it happens to appear on another doll I happen to have it’s really convenient cus whose gonna know lol

Fr, a lot of times when I'm looking at Bratz I'm like...that's it? It's just casual fashion, I guess. Not bad, but not particularly exciting either. Maybe we'll be more impressed as the line develops. Also I'm loving all your outfits in these videos, btw. Your celestial top is super cute!

Also on Cloe's cow print; the first release described each girl's "fashion passion" on the box. Yasmin's is boho, Jade's is cutting edge, Sasha's is street wear. And Cloe's is "exotic animal prints", which she never wears again... I think they just didn't know what to do with her as a character 😅

Strut It Jade is my favourite Bratz doll of all time! It's the boots and skirt that do it for me, but it's also heavily nostalgia fuelled. I just ignore how not-great the 1st outfit is

Since I stopped collecting dolls back then, I didn’t pay much attention to the doll market and I have to say again I’m amazed at all the dolls Bratz made. I don’t like cow print either, I don’t understand it at all 😅 I actually love the sleepover ones since they come with little stuffed animals and I just the idea of dolls with plush toys 😄 I’m excited for Part 2 to see the rest of the Bratz dolls I didn’t know existed 😊

imo the early years of Bratz are some of their weakest. 2004 to like 2012 (yes I'm including g2 of Bratz!!) is their peak to me. So many good designs! And yeah I miss all the little accessories dolls used to come with! It's wild how much production has increased that its just not even slightly feasible anymore.

What do you think of Living Dead Dolls? I just bought my first one Morgana. She's a beautiful gothic girl with an umbrella. There are a few I love but they can be quite expensive. I wanted Morgana for a year before I found her for decent price on ebay

I'm confused because I thought you collected these? I don't personally collect them, but there are a few that seem cute. I thought there was a line of dolls that were in costumes from other countries; do you happen to know? In this rating, I liked a couple of them, but not that many; of course seeing them in person might make a difference. I was looking at one of the reproductions at Walmart today, but I'm not sure which one it was & I didn't get her. I like the formal dolls best in any brand and dolls dressed in ethnic costumes from various countries. I also like Gothic style dolls.

Barbie has a dolls of the world line. Bratz doesnt, except there are 3 Tokyo Bratz dolls that are in kimonos
