Funny. For me its exactly the same. Love the General Store. Do like the castle, though the price is steep, but it is a rare castle which will display beautiful for winter scenes…

Do they only let you order two sets of all 5 total? Or is it just a limit of two of the same sets? I’m kind of leaning on getting 3 of these since supposedly they don’t charge you till they ship months later.

Yes. You can purchase up to 2 of each set. They will put a hold on your card but won’t actually get charged until they ship the sets if I remember correctly.

The Bricklink Designer Program has always focused on a narrow segment of the AFOL community, and the high prices seem to ward off casual customers. While I do think the prices for some of these sets will rise drastically on the secondary market, they are meant to be built, enjoyed, displayed, and appreciated--not hoarded and scalped.

Totally agree! Definitely targeted to the long term LEGO fan. I think most of the sets will be built but I also feel like there is always a place for investing in these sets so that future LEGO enthusiasts that couldn’t buy them this time around still have a chance to get them. Regardless, great sets and all look like amazing builds!

first I skipped it, since western isn't one of my themes right now. Ordered one after all. When I finally held the box in my hand I was very happy that I got it, it is a beautiful, perfect set and design. The coach is fantastic.

The pricing is out of wack this time. Winter Chalet 2700 pcs for $200. Bowling Alley 2800 pcs for $230. Mountain View Observatory - 3900 pcs for $320.

The world is out of wack right now. If 320$ was fine for 3889 pieces in 2022, then 379$ for 3995 pieces in 2024 is an amazing deal considering inflation.

Parisian Street is way better than some atrocious modular buildings like Cinema and Police. You don't have to remove the floor to play and you have a precise style from a certain place. I had the money just for the castle and one of this but I wish I picked one more for each.

@@TheBrickQuest The latter is not my cup of tee X5 I like very much the new western train, the sand green roulotte, the boat gas station peer and above all the Forrestmen hideout. This time I want a couple of boxes of the train and the hideout. I'm sticking out by the classic modular line, I'm going to sell the Pet shop and The fire brigade just because I want to focus my budget on the lines I prefer the most: Classic castle ( NO LOTR), high level AFOL BL like The observatory so cool never opened, i live in a fisherman town in Italy so I rebricked the fishing boat with amazing figures modified actually the farmer with a hog, I had a couple and a turquise instead the azul, it is awsome. Keep on working boy

Good question. I haven’t seen an end date yet. They may update that once the pre-orders start.

I think they may keep it open until it hits that 30,000, but don't expect it to take long. I think since people can buy 2 each instead of just one it'll still sell out as quickly as they usually do. Just my opinion though...we'll see shortly!

They are terrible investments, but great for flipping. But jfc, it's only 2 units guys. Just let the passionate fans get this at MSRP that otherwise can't afford them. But to be clear, there are trash investments to sit and hold. Value will only go down after several months to a year; plateau at best.

They are solid but not incredible. Looking at past releases some have tripled in value but most only doubled. There are a couple that did not gain as much. It’ll be interesting to see how this round performs with 30,000 being produced.
