The ONLY mod used was the green blood, the grind to unlock of this was all me so PLEASE subscribe because it was brutal lmao! Also, I completely forgot to capture the tier list while recording the first half of the video, it starts showing up halfway through. Didn't think it was a big enough deal to edit back in since we say where we rank them each time anyway, sorry! Also as with any list, these are our opinions we did just for fun and as an excuse to react to all these brutalities for the first time, so don't take it too seriously, which was your favorite?

I always had the feeling that Brutalities were just cut Fatalities and this ranking honestly solidified that. A lot of them were actually better than the Fatalities that were chosen too.

I've aways liked brutalities more. They just seem more brutal to be part of the gameplay instead of a sudden cut, and have certain ones where you just beat the opponent into the ground, or tear off their limbs and leave them crawling and bleeding out. Just feels cooler and more brutal to me!

Fun Fact: If you look at the unlocks, one of General Shao's brutalities looks like it was supposed to be something having to do with his down, forward, 4, but it's currently not in the game.

Super dissappointed Reiko didn't get a Brutality with his ninja stars as a call back to one of his MK4 fatalities. He has the torso kick with his grab which was the other MK4 fatality.

I actually rate uppercut brutalities differently based on what they use! They may be the same in concept, but it feels more brutal to use an axe or something instead of just a fist. I would rate Kung Lao higher if he used his hat for an uppercut like in some games for example.

I think some of the glitches that occurred during the brutalities was probably something to do with the green blood mod. Maybe the modified client resulted in some peculiar issues that wouldnt occur in regular clients?

I've seen it in the normal game, particulary with Geras for some reason. And the brutalities aren't even listed right in the game so lots of bugs still...

So if I recall from a previous video, an idea you had was you were going to rank the Arcade Ladder endings from MK1. Something I want to say about that which I feel you should know ahead of time, some of the endings are actually LINKED/CONNECTED with one another. I feel like knowing that would be helpful in ranking them overall. I feel like there are three categories they can be in: Endings that are fully linked (are together and must be watched in a specific order to make narrative sense), semi linked (endings that are together but can be watched in any order without any narrative disconnect) and one offs (the solo endings that aren’t connected to others). If you don’t care about spoilers, here are the endings that i think fit those categories: Fully Linked endings: Liu Kang and then Geras Havik and then Rain General Shao and then Reiko (Though depending on how you view it, Kitana’s ending could arguably be placed in between them.) Sub-Zero and then Scorpion and then Smoke and then Raiden (Yeah, I wasn’t expecting four characters to all fit but here we are. Though this one was tricky to place. Sub-Zero’s ending definitely takes place before Scorpion’s, but it feels like both Smoke and Raiden’s endings take place in between points of Scorpion’s ending, if that makes sense…) Semi Linked endings: Baraka and Mileena Kitana, Reptile, and Li Mei (Kitana’s placement is tricky, as I could also see her being put in between General Shao and Reiko in the “fully linked” category, but I couldn’t really decide which category made the most sense for her, so I’m mentioning her in both) One off endings: Ashrah Johnny Cage Kenshi Kung Lao Nitara Shang Tsung Sindel Tanya Hopefully if you do the arcade ladder ranking or tier list, this helps out in some way!
