Excellent video man, I just searched up “ranking all popcap games” to see if such a video even existed, and ended up watching this entire video start to end. 6 months is really a commitment for just one video, there was one time where I spent 4 months on a video and I just thought it was alright, and not worth all that time that could be spent on doing something else. Hopefully you get more views at some point, because you deserve it. That’s all I gotta say. -Mojo

i swear every game PopCap ever made made has this "casino" aesthetic to it from the glossy UI begging to be clicked, to the overwhelmingly positive characters, to the inviting energy everything has in general. Except it's actually not this evil software made to extract as much money from you as possible.
@zoeyinrealtime12 күн бұрын
oh yeah, you can tell they knew how to get you hooked. thankfully when i play big money the only thing i gamble is my dignity

@@zoeyinrealtime a few days ago i went to a bar and there were these casino machines where there were a ton of gambling games with different themes. It had Mayan themes, chinese themes, african savana themes, etc. And when i was looking at the library of games they all had that early 2000's PopCap vibe to them with an evil aura of gambling LMAO

Speaking of Zuma though, it’s one of the greatest game for me. I played this since when I was a kid and I get to play it again this year… in a form of mods. Yeah, people figured out how to make Zuma mods which not only have texture change but also custom levels. Yes, you can make your own Zuma levels now.

Oh and I also played Feeding frenzy when I was a kid as well. Back then, I played it on my aunt’s laptop and it was so much fun. (I still missed my aunt though. She passed away few years ago due to cancer but life must go on so yeah.)

I LOVE Popcap and always wanted some kind of video that made an in-depth look into all of their games, so it's greatly appreciated. That final speech frankly hit the nail on the head for why nostalgia is such a special word to me. I noticed however that some of the games played weren't the Deluxe versions. Most of the games don't change much, but some actually got bigger improvements like Seven Seas only having the MIDI sea shanty for the tutorial while the rest of the game has a more triumphant song. Also you actually missed a few classic games that fit the criteria like TipTop and Candy Train. I know they're VERY obscure, but in case there's a revisit, there's a complete link of all their released games I can recommend that even has them in Deluxe mode....it doesn't have Candy Train but it's the only flash exclusive you'd have to worry about and you can easily play it on Flashpoint.

Is bejeweled the first gem matching game? It’s like the blueprint for shitty addictive phone games
@zoeyinrealtime5 ай бұрын
definitely not the first ever, in fact it was inspired by another game but it is the first that really popularized it
@toonpik74 күн бұрын
what’s the the point of this comment? every shitty addictive gacha lootbox thing in games nowadays was inspired by something. bejeweled is awesome, and the fact that shitty games copied it later doesn’t change that.
