The problem with the season 16 one is that the original theme was WARZONE (thats why some of them used camo/leader/military type outfits), and after the Israel-Palestine thing they had to reshoot everything. So the video promo was probably going to be more full than what we got.

To be honest, considering that the Russian invasion took place which the United States is actively involved into by sanctioning Russia and supplying Ukraine as well as countless other wars in Africa, the Middle East and even in China, 'war zone' was never an unproblematic theme free from controversy. This was always going to be a yikes.

Season 16 really proved that even with the worst themes in existence you can still pull through and make iconic looks. Dawn, and Nymphia Wind's looks specially look runway worthy to me

IMO, season 15 was the best promo that the show has ever done; every look was so good, and the video was just so visually satisfying i STILL watch it a year later. It was like the peak of drag race; the budget, the theme, the throwback to the roots but doing it all again so much better. I really don't know if we're ever going to get a better promo than it

I think the queens of season 6 are in different looks as they didn’t want to ruin their promo looks. The queens in different outfits kind of all have something that gets spilled on them. They may have said no, not in my promo look. Give me another outfit. It’s been discussed on Race Chaser that sometimes the promo video looks aren’t the ones the queens brought.

i respect your opinion on season 13 buuuttt i am also a graphic designer and i am OBSESSED with the typography and animation. while i agree the backgrounds were a bit boring as a brand it was really great and i loved it. the designer made a custom logo for every queen's name based on their vibes and its so so good. also i think that the drag race logo is my favorite version im literally obsessed with the design of this season so even if its not a good drag race promo it IS good branding imo

I had a dream that season 16 was announced and there was new judge who was a drag queen. She was like twice the height of Michelle Visage and had a long glorious beard. She got into a fight with one of the contestasts in the first episode, the contestant got sent home and then mid season the judge was arrested becuase the queen had disappeared. The tagline for the season was "even more fabolous than queens". That's all. I just wanted to share that. Great video as always.

For some reason, & this may just be me, but maybe the reason they went for a camo/construction vibe in this promo is because they are going into a “reconstruction” era? That’s just an observation given how the audience has perceived the last season. Also makes me think of the comparison people made between All Stars 7 & 8. This season will be heavily compared as well.
