It's about their standings after their last F1 race. Jim Clark's life ended tragically but not his F1 career. Edit. No-one knows the true reason for Clark's car failure. That being the case, he cannot be held to account. A car failure that is outwith the control of the driver is a chance event. It could happen to any driver. Sadly it happened when Clark was racing at one of Europe's fastest circuits in an F2 race.

Re. Nigel Mansell, it's a pitty that he ever went to McLaren for '95 as his win at Adelaide in' 94 would have been the perfect send off. Its also a pitty that his team in Indycar (Newman-Haas) were on a downward trajectory as first Penske and then for the rest of the decade Reynard superceded Lola as the car to have in the series which led to Nigel leaving the series after '94.

To me, Aytrons last race will always be Adelaide 93. Man, was that a brilliant season from aytron, with a almost 100hp lower engine than bennetton (Who had the better ford engines) and Williams (Who had the best engine with their renault)

Why is Rindt ranked so low? The guy died during the season, and still won the title. Schumacher should've stayed retired, them mercedes days were brutal..
