WiiU Mario Circuit: It's a super underrated 💎. 1. The entire track takes place on a modius strip so we drive on both sides 2. There's plenty on the track to keep us entertained: goombas, goombas stacks, Piranha Plants, risky ramps and a glider at the end. Also, you forgotten to mention that there's now oil spills on GBA MC, tires placed in the off-road to make for fun shortcuts and a hidden glider ramp behind some trees, allowing to fly over the ending walls for a bit.

11th place for wii mario circuit is wild. It has so many great characteristics that you didn't mention like 2 sets of item boxes so you can get a mushroom and do the shortcut, trying to push the lightweights into the chain chomp, doing the greatest comeback of your life driving between trees with a golden mushroom on lap 3. It's chaotic like all the mario kart wii tracks and that's why I think it should be in the top 5

I always like how the blossom leaves falling from the trees, the giant mushroom, driving inside the castle(even if it was for a few seconds), gliding at the end of the castle and into the pipe tunnel( has anyone try to glide on top of the pipe tunnel or is it just me).

I hate to be the "erm actshully" person, but out of all the arcade Mario Karts (Mario Kart Arcade Grand Prix, Mario Kart Arcade Grand Prix 2, and Mario Kart Arcade Grand Prix Deluxe), none of them have a Mario Circuit, and only 2 of them have Rainbow Roads (Which aren't actually called Rainbow Roads there tho). The only track type of the 3 that appears in all games is the Bowser's Castle theme. Also, no I didn't forget about Mario Kart Arcade Grand Prix VR, that game just doesn't have tracks in the traditional sense. Mario Kart Tour doesn't have any nitro tracks of the 3 themes (excluding the RMX tracks which honestly barely count). I have no idea about Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit tho.

I will never understand why Wii Mario circuit gets so much love, It's boring, if you changed one of the turns it would be a figure 8 and the only fun part is the short cut over the chain chump. the remake of GCN Mario circuit IN THE SAME GAME, is so much better. The fact that it came after DS mario circuit puts wiis mario circuit to shame. It's a Wii U rainbow road/ 3DS rainbow road situation. 3Ds rainbow road was so good that it puts its successor (Wii U rainbow road) to shame and it's the same with wii Mario circuit.

Side note, but am I the only one that lowkey hates that the mario circuits from GCN onward are basically Peach Circuits? Like why is mario stealing Peachs theme and getting away with it in every game (specially in the case of 7's having you go into her castle), give him his own generic theme like he had in snes and Mario Raceway and let Peach have her castle like in Royal Raceway lmao (Which I also feel should have been called peach raceway considering Peach is the only one from 64 to not have a track directly named after her due to this)

SNES Bowser’s Castle 1 and SNES Mario Circuit 1 are similar because both of them were the first ones, and both of them are boring but mercifully not frustrating. SNES Bowser’s Castle 2 and SNES Mario Circuit 3 are similar because both of them have terrible layouts, both of them suck, and both of them are my least favorite ones of their type. SNES Bowser’s Castle 3 and SNES Mario Circuit 2 are similar because both of them are more interesting than their first two variants, both of them got a good remake especially in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and both of them are good. GBA Bowser’s Castle 1 and GBA Mario Circuit are similar because both of them are forgettable, but at least they’re slightly more interesting than their first two SNES Variants, and both of them got a good remake in a dark era of Nintendo. GBA Bowser’s Castle 2 and GBA Peach Circuit are similar because they have better atmospheres than their siblings, both of them were in DS (which both were butchered in) and Tour. GBA Bowser’s Castle 3 and GBA Luigi Circuit are similar because their layouts are not that interesting but both have a blue thundercloud sky atmosphere, and they were in the 7th generation of video game consoles, and in Mario Kart Tour. GBA Bowser’s Castle 4 and SNES Mario Circuit 4 are similar because both of them are my favorite 2D ones of their type, both of them feel like the ultimate ones, and both of them haven’t been remade in a mainline Mario Kart Game.

My ranking: (not counting the RMX version because I can’t play it) 14) SNES Mario Circuit 3 This track is just a lesser version of the 4th iteration of this track. It’s just boring, and there’s literally no reason to play it when MC4 is right there. 13) GBA Mario Circuit (OG) Yay. Grass. This is even worse than Figure-8 Circuit because it takes way too much time. This track is nothing and it has nothing. 12) SNES Mario Circuit 1 This is actually a pretty good way to start off the Mario Kart series. Sadly, when Mario Kart tracks have such good design in general, this one can’t really rank higher. 11) GBA Mario Circuit (Remake) Despite Nintendo’s attempt to make this track more interesting, just adding antigravity to one U-turn is not enough. The rest is very boring. Here’s how to fix it! The antigravity section should be longer and stay during at least half the track, with mandatory ramps, twisty turns, and a glider section to end this track. 10) Wii U Mario Circuit This gets the edge over the GBA MC remake because the antigravity is used in a clever way. The fact that you’re defying the laws of gravity makes the first play through fun. Sadly, when you get to know the track, it gets old quickly, so it can’t rank higher, and in terms of length, it overstays its welcome. 9) Wii Mario Circuit I like the welcoming atmosphere of this track. It has fun music, a peak shortcut, and varied enough scenery. Sadly, even with all of this, it kinda fails to be more interesting since most of the variety is in the background. 8) SNES Mario Circuit 4 This one… actually has a fun layout. When you can master it, taking the sharp turns flawlessly is very satisfying! 7) DS Mario Circuit (OG) Same thing than the previous entry! And it’s even more satisfying with snaking. The music is peak, and the scenery, while pretty basic, is still pretty. 6) N64 Mario Raceway A good track as well! The twisty layout is fun. And the shortcut potential is incredible! 5) SNES Mario Circuit 2 First, this one has a fun layout. But what makes it great is obviously the big jump. Being a SNES track, it becomes more unique with it being the only track with a mandatory big jump! 4) GCN Mario Circuit (OG) It has what Mario Circuits generally lack: variety in the scenery and layout. You have a tunnel, a natural path, Peach’s Castle, and a Chain Chomp. But the remake does it better. 3) DS Mario Circuit (Switch) This remake takes the complicated layout of the OG version, and adds variety in its scenery. The forest section is a nice touch, and the music remix is great! 2) 3DS Mario Circuit With various scenery consisting of cherry blossom trees, Peach’s Castle, a varied layout with shortcuts, mushrooms, and a glider, this track manages to stay fun each time! 1) GCN Mario Circuit (Wii) Just like its OG version, it has variety in the layout. But first, with the Wii controls & physics, it becomes more satisfying to play. And the trick system also adds variety because the bump section is way more fun and chaotic, and this makes the bridge more tense because of how you jump near the Piranha Plants.

This would be my ranking 14: Wow we are agreeing already. Yeah snes mc3 is the worst 13: mc4 i placed it higher as do find the layout better 12: gba mc ok while good in mk8 in sc just forgettable 11: mk1 the one that started it all iconic but basic 10: wii mc. Wow beaten by a 2d track. Just figure 8 circuit but with hazards 9. Rmc sure just add jumps. 8. Mc2 ok rare moment of a snes track reaching the top 10 but this is a fun track and also get to fly over other racers. 7. 8 mc while figure 8 with anti gravity do really like the music. 6. Gba mc wii u ok massive step up 5. N64 mr ok this is still a circuit and solid layout but why is this the last track in the flower cup? 4. Gcn mc honestly would be top 3 but it has bumps which im not a big fan off 3. Ds mc ok fun layout for ne best mc theme and has a unquie gimmick with the fire piranha plants. 2. Ds mk 8 version literally a visual update. 1. 3ds mk ok all of it is great and alongside yoshi and daisy circuit is a top 3 circuit for me

Hate to tell you this but its an invalid list. You never included the remakes as their own spots for SNES MC 1,2,3,4 but then gave others their own spots.

I found those remakes to be as good as their original variants, so they were included alongside them in the same spot. While the other two stood out enough in quality to get their own seperate placements.
